Good and fast service. They seem to be a family business. The install took a few hours and it was done. There was a mistake due to a slight miscommunication. I let them know and they fixed it as soon as they got the correct panels at no extra charge with no argument. The panel fix only took about 1 hour. I would have kept the originally installed panels as they were a better design than what I wanted but the HOA is strict. My installer was Sean and he was great.

Overall, our experience with BBB was excellent. They came the day we called them to give us a quote; allowed us to select and purchase our own garage door opener unit (we opted for Chamberlain and they were offering quotes for Lift Master); and then came the day after we called to schedule an appointment to install the unit, which took a couple of hours. Their pricing was extremely fair (and one of the best quotes we received) and the two technicians who came were extremely nice, knowledgeable, efficient, and competent. We would definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone else.

Raymond at BBB was great to work with. He was able to locate and install the replacement spring. He then lubricated and adjusted the door. It works like new.

Very nice gentlemen, knows the equipment, not only replaced the 2 springs with better quality parts but lubricated the door wheels and hinges, adjusted the equipment and more. very happy would use him again. came fast, very responsive, very reasonable price.

This is a follow-up to my original review. I am very impressed by their after-service follow-up. After installation I noticed one door did not seal properly at the bottom. I contacted BBB and they set a time to come the next day. Turned out, after the night, it sealed fine and no visit was needed. A week later, one door was not working. It was the chain on the opener. The opener was not even part of the job I contracted for. Nonetheless, the owner Raymond came over and fixed it right away. Really excellent customer service. Very happy. Recommending them to my neighbors.

Other companies told me that the units could not be repaired and must be replaced with new garage door openers. Raymond examined the units and gave me his assessment of the status of the two units and possible solutions. He repaired both openers, and they now work well. I am pleased with the outcome. Raymond was honest, reasonable and reliable. I have already recommended him to other homeowners.

I am very happy with this contractor. Raymond, the owner, thoroughly explained the installation process and answered all my questions. He was very helpful and professional. He made two visits to my house before installation to ensure everything was in order and ready to go when the doors arrived, and then a third visit to quality-check the completed project, which went very smoothly. Raymond and his team did a great job, and the doors are terrific. I made a mistake on my final check (in his favor) and he immediately pointed out that I was paying him too much! I highly recommend this honest, professional, and hardworking business.

The service went very well. We've had ongoing problems with the springs on our door (it's very heavy and the springs don't last nearly as long as they should). After performing some research on the door, BBB presented us with several options. So far so good.

Repair went very well. Called for the repair at 8 and the technician arrived around 11 and was done in less than half an hour.

Ramon did superb work at a great price. He takes pride in his work and values his customers. I appreciated how he explained all the work without being condescending. I think the age of my old door made the repairs more complicated than he initially anticipated. Nevertheless, he stuck with the original price he quoted me, in spite of the additional labor and parts ultimately involved. The door operated more smoothly after his repairs and lubrication than I ever recall it ever operating. (I am the second owner of the house and inherited the garage door when I moved in about 9 years ago.)

BBB Garage Doors is the GOLD STANDARD for garage door companies. And Raymond the Technician is the reason why this is a 5 star review. I don't need to spend time calling several other companies, comparing quotes, taking time off work and hoping that they will fix the problem. Raymond identified the problem with our garage door and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. He even spent time with me explaining proper garage door maintenance and gave me a maintenance product for FREE. The technical service was professional, the customer service was friendly and the prices were unbelievable......seriously, these guys beat all of the competition's prices. And they addressed our problem of the garage door not sealing properly. When you find a superior technician like Raymond and a great company like BBB Garage Doors, you don't need to call anyone else. This is your first call.

This is a great company and has one of the best customer services I have seen. I strongly recommend it. Remond is very knowledgeable, polite, reliable, trustworthy  and honest. One of my best experiences with  a company. I would definitely use again if needed.Don't call anyone else!

Fixed the garage door spring and cable, great service!

I was given a window between 11 A.M and 1 P.M. Armond showed up 12 Noon, I was so impressed. He examined the door and gave me the price never expected, very reasonable. He found out more issues were done wrongly in the first place while fixing the door. He fixed all the issues, not charging any extra penny. He even refused the tips. I will recommend Armond to anybody else.

Absolutely phenomenal! :-) I want to preface my comments by advising that I have NEVER written a review on a company or individual I requested to respond to my residence for a service/maintenance issue, but I had to take the time to write a review on BBB Garage Doors LLC and specifically the representative who responded, Daniel. On Thursday August 25, 2016 at approximately 2:00 p.m., I attempted to manually open my garage door to go and pick up my son from school, but it would not stay in the "up" position because the cable wires had broken. I had to call my next door neighbor to come over to old my garage door "up" so that I could pull my vehicle out of the garage. While driving to my sons school, I Goggled "Garage Door Repair - Bowie" and BBB Garage Doors LLC was the first company listed. I called and Daniel answered on the third ring. I informed him of the service that I was inquiring about with my garage door and to my surprise Daniel advised that he could be at my residence within the hour, if I was home. I was expecting that I would be able to get an appointment to have a representative respond to my residence for at least one week or longer. Daniel subsequently called back about 45 minutes into the hour to advised that he was delayed by traffic on the Beltway, but was still enroute. Daniel arrived just after the hour. His BBB Garage Door truck was white, clean, and clearly marked with BBB Garage Doors. He looked well groomed and had a neat, professional appearance. He introduced himself and quickly entered my garage to diagnose my issues. Not only did he replace my cables and springs, but also, fixed a broken panel that I had with some creative craftsmanship, as well as my garage door opener and remotes which had previously not worked for almost two years. I was pulling into my driveway, entering my residence and garage to manually open the garage door. After I pulled my vehicle into the garage, I then had to manually close the garage door. It was a time consuming nuisance. In summary, it is my distinct honor and privilege to take the time out of my day to write a review about my personal experience with BBB Garage Doors. As a result of Daniel, I can now open my garage door with the remotes. I totally endorse and recommend BBB Garage Doors, and specifically Daniel, if he is available. Respectfully, Matthew

From my perspective the transaction was terribly upsetting.  In truth, Hari did fix the garage door and it has been working fine for the last year and a half.  What irritated me was that he claimed it was a different problem and hence the warranty did not work.  In reality he did exactly the same thing the second visit that he did the first visit.  He just did not do it right the first time.  He could easily see that the floor was not level on both visits.  Hence that was not the problem.  He just said that to be able to give me a second charge.   I was not up to fighting with him, so I paid the extra $125.  
I might add that I have had this problem in the past and another company (which is no longer in business) did the same work, charged me less and came back a month later to fix it a second time and said that it was covered by warranty as I had expected.  So what I was expecting was not unreasonable.

They seemed to have done a nice job. The door is a bit louder now, but that could be a result of a sturdier set of springs. I am waiting to see if the noise dissipates. Tech was professional and easy to work with.

I used a Living Social voucher. Everything went extremely well. The technician, Harry was prompt, polite, knowledgeable,and did not try to sell me anything. I will use this company again.
