Description of Work: Removed and Closed up an Ugly WIndow

Description of Work: Leaking ceiling pipe had damaged ceiling, walls, track lights, and floor in living room. Dave and his two subs repaired the floor, plaster walls and ceiling; installed recessed lighting; and painted the room.

Description of Work: Replace deck.

Description of Work: Resided our home, corrected termite damage, replaced all the doors and storm doors, and constructed front porch.

Description of Work: Barclay, et al., designed and quoted a workable replacement for a giant deck that had reached the end of its useful life. We spent over one year going over quotes and selecting a primary contractor. This job involved demolition, grading, extensive redesign, and real-time problem solving. I cannot overstate the size and complexity of this multi-level structure. It completely surrounds a 40-foot pool and is as long as the back of the entire house. It has gas, electrical, and extensive water handling features that had to be worked into the design. A million guys told me they could do this job. Many of them came to see the project. Very few ever returned. Only a couple submitted quotes. Barclay was up for the challenge and the complex project finally moved forward. This job defines our property. It has to come out no less than spectacular. We are well on our way to that end.
