After painstakingly restoring a vintage living room set, I wanted to protect it while still having a relaxed home where I didn't need to worry about the furniture. Most of the pieces I needed to cover were oval and some were rectangular with rounded edges. I tried several other companies before calling Banner Glass and everyone else was either not willing to try or didn't make much of an effort to make sure it was right (I don't care what anyone says--you can't get an oval right with just two measurements!). I was impressed by Banner Glass from the very first interaction. The staff who answer the phones in the office were very professional. I always appreciate dealing with people who are polite, know what they're doing, and get stuff done. I was thrilled that they were willing to take on a job with odd shapes and sent Sean out to do the measurements. Sean carefully traced each piece individually, even for two pieces that were virtually identical. His attention to detail was really admirable and he was a pleasant person to have around. After Sean left, I received an estimate when he said I would and continued to receive clear and prompt communication from the office. Everyone at Banner Glass was pleasant to deal with and they consistently followed through on their own estimated timeframe for when things would be done (the estimate, the cutting, the delivery). Having the glass cut was one of the larger investments I've made in my furnishings, and in fact some of the glass tops cost me more than the furniture it's on, but it was worth it. I look forward to working with Banner Glass again after I find and restore my bedroom set! Thanks, Banner!

Just one guy came.  He was nice and personable.  He finished the work efficiently and fairly quick.

I used them only once.  The insurance company paid for it.  The door didn’t open from the inside once they were done.  They didn’t do it properly.  I had to call them back.  They were good about doing it.  They came to my place and fixed it without any questions.  It is fine.  The glass is very nice.

I had a great experience with Banner Glass.  After my car window fell off its track, I contacted them and I was able to obtain an appointment for the following day.  They told me that the window would have to be replaced and a new window needed to be ordered in order to do so.  In the meantime, they pulled my window completely closed which was really helpful because it rained and snowed in between my follow-up appointment.  No payment was due at the first appointment although they do charge a $125 diagnostic fee.  If the repair to your car is covered under this fee, no additional money is required.  However, if it is not, then you pay the $125 and the cost of the service provided.  I came back the following week to get my window replaced and they did a fantastic job.  On both occasions, I waited while they looked at my car and I was in and out in a little over an hour.  The front office receptionist was very nice and easy to deal with.  I recommend this company for auto glass repair.

Only cost $100 because my insurance has a glass policy. Things I learned about replacing your windshield: 1. Take your car in when the chip occurs. If you wait until it cracks, it's much more expensive. 2. They can replace your windshield at your home. This is better, because they're a 15 - 20 minute walk from the Metro station. The day I replaced my windshield was too cold for them to work outside. It was a very cold walk to the Metro (not their fault).

My home was broken into via a window. We needed to replace the broken glass, but keep the boards up until security doors can be installed.
I called them and was able to set up an appointment with no problems. The person I spoke with spoke English.
The person arrived on schedule during the time frame I'd been told to expect them. Initially they'd gone to the wrong address but apparently that was due to a transposed number in the address. They called me and we got them to the right place (they were only about 3 houses down from where they were supposed to be).
The glasier removed the board that had been used to secure the broken window. He was able to replace the broken glass quickly with no problems. When I asked him to replace the board over the broken glass as a temporary security measure till the security doors I'd ordered can be installed he was able to replace it and even got the screws into the same holes so I won't have to do much to patch the holes from the window being boarded up.

The glass was good quality, without any ripples (a concern because it's at such a steep angle). The sun-shading/tinting a the top edge matched exactly what was there before. It looks like the original factory glass installation.
I made an appointment, brought it to their shop in in the morning, and it it was done later that day. I didn't inquire to see if they'd come out and do it where my car would be.

My deductible is such that I didn't file for insurance. I thought the price was fair, but I don't have much to compare it to.

After a long day at work I returned to where I had parked my car in the neighborhood to find the rear passenger side window smashed in. It was a mess....glass shards all over the interior of my car and this "open window" making my car unsecured and therefore, unparkable in the city. After a frustrating visit to the local police station where no one even looked at my car before pronouncing it "property damage" rather than vandalism, I went home and came to Angies List website to start the hunt for someone to repair it. I found Banner Glass as well as several other potential fixers but did not make a decision until I had gone onto the internet for some independent research. I decided on Banner and completed an on-line estimate request and pressed "send." (This all happened in the wee hours when I couldn't sleep.) Once the business day had started I called Banner and spoke with Bonnie Banner. She was terrific! Within 15 minutes she had called me back to say they could get the special glass needed for my car and make the repair today. I took my car in around 9:30 am and Bonnie called me around 1:30 pm to say my car was ready. I returned and my car was ready -- the window was as good as new and all of the shattered glass had been cleaned out of my car. I was so pleased.

The price seemed high but I needed the glass replaced. I have since had a one time problem with water getting into the basement (never happened before) around the door after the glass was replaced (don't know if it was the caulking around the door ...the guy actually asked me if I wanted the door caulked which seemed like it should have been done without asking me). In all fairness we did have extremely heavy rain.
The clean up of the broken glass wasn't done thoroughly( I had to go back and pick up what they missed...I have a dog and didn't want the loose chards of glass getting into his paws).

They were prompt, took about 30 minutes to install new window. Window looks to be put in well with the proper trimming, etc.

They additionally did some unexpected work in cleaning/removing tape marks left from my makeshift window cover during the last year. I was anticating having to do this myself later, but they did a great job.

They were the least expensive company we found to do this work, even with the $25 fee for them coming out to my location. Would definitely have them do any necessary work in the future, and would recommend them.

They took my car the day after I called, after checking to see that they had the correct windshield in stock. Replaced it in a couple of hours. Were prompt and professional.

I placed an order on 11/5 for a piece of glass to cover the top of a console table. I had to follow up with the company more the 5 times to get answers, to when the glass would be cut and when it would be delivered. I left at least 3 voice mails with the manager who never called me back. The only good part of this experience was the office manager took pity on me (she knew recognized me via the numerous phone calls) and made sure the deliver was scheduled. I received my glass more than a month later on 12/10.

Dropped off the car Friday morning (without an appointment) and they finished in the afternoon. Very painless. Since they're walking distance from downtown Silver Spring, it worked out great for me.

Banner Glass was very prompt in completing the installation of the new windshield and they answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. This was an all-around good experience.

The back windshield of our car suddenly shattered, for no apparent reason. After checking Angie's List and finding that Banner was highly rated and close to our home, we set up an appointment to have the work done. The staff was very accommodating and did the work in less time than they estimated. They installed a new window and cleaned up all of the shards of glass that had spread over the seats.
