ARCADE FLORIST

The flowers for my son's recent wedding were my responsibility.  I shopped around and was quite intimidated by  the costs of what I was seeing.  I did not find any reviews on Arcade Florist in Glenmont, MD,  but  they have been around forever, so I thought I would give them a chance. I made an appointment during a non peak time and went for my first visit with my son. Admittedly, it was a bit scary.  The store front is old in a decaying strip mall.  Additionally, the shop smelled more of cigarettes than flowers which I actually commented on. I worked with Karen who went over the options and showed me some of the arrangements they had  for sale in their refrigerated case as well as flowers they were currently working with. I made my tentative decisions, got an estimate on pricing and left. I needed to bring in the bride for a final decision.  We revisited Arcade Florist about three weeks before the wedding, decisions and payments were made.  What a great decision.  The delivery man arrived on schedule for both venues.  The flowers were complete show stoppers.  NO CIGARETTE SMELL.  The full bouquets of white and fuchsia roses, as well as, white and stargazer lilies were lush and gorgeous.  You cannot hide a bad white rose. The bridesmaids were wowed by the quality of their rose bouquets (15 roses each).  The wrist corsages of white roses and purple orchids were enchanting.  The centerpieces received rave reviews from my guests and are still gorgeous five days after the ceremony.  Do not let the appearance of the store turn you away.  Arcade Florist provide top quality flowers at very reasonable prices and the beauty of the arrangements made everyone smile.  Highly recommended.
