Response was prompt and detailed. Gary patiently answered our questions, provided samples for us to view, provided recent references, and a fair, competitive quotation. His work team consisted of two men who did our 115 square foot walkway in three days, working diligently. The job involved demolition of the prior walkway and replacement with Nicolock pavers. Gary came by to check the work and ensure quality, even though the crew was experienced, hard-working and accurate with their cuts of the pavers and layout. We are pleased with the outcome and would use this company again.

Very Well!! The installation team was professional and responsive. We love our new Simonton 5500 windows (Consumer Reports recommended by the way)!! So easy to clean. Already got positive comments from our neighbors. Would definitely recommend ABS.

Excellent! The price was fair and reasonable plus scheduling was quick. The crew was prompt and friendly..probably the hardest working crew I’ve ever seen- they completed the project and cleaned up efficiently- no leftover debris! Would absolutely recommend Gary to replace a roof!

First of all, the new roof is beautiful. It might be the best-looking roof in the whole neighborhood. It appears to be well-done. But the whole job did not go without mishaps. Gary Ross is very personable. He brought a large roof sample/brochure combo to show us the roof we would get. He left it with us to review and decide between ABS and several other bidders. On the actual work day, the crew of 5 men arrived by 7:30am and quickly went to work, setting up, removing the old roof, noting the status of the plywood deck and determining that they, too, needed replacing, and pulling them up. There was good coordination with the supply trucks that brought the new roofing and decking material. The crew worked quickly, taking only a couple of well-timed breaks and the entire job was complete by around 5:30pm. The crew did a decent job of cleaning up, running the magnetic sweeper over the yard to pick up any stray nails, and removing the old material. The main negatives were: 1) I thought the workers, who were working at a fast pace, were not as careful as they should have been in sending down the old roof pieces and handling them in the yard. I would have preferred that the crew establish one or two points away from the house doors to send the old material down and 2) in their carelessness, early in the day, the crew did something that caused the overhead lattice over our deck (made of some 10 2x6 boards and attached to the rear of the house over the deck) to collapse causing some siding damage. The crew hastily raised and reattached the lattice but it was out of position and not even. I was the only one who noted this and had to call it to their attention the day after via an email and a phone call. They did respond quickly with concern, sending the foreman over to look it over and I asked them to simply remove and discard the lattice and repair the damaged siding and they came back with a crew of 3 who did so, and did a good job. So far, I am very pleased with the roof job. It really shines. Would I hire ABS again? Probably so, but before they start a job, I would do a quick walk-around and review with the crew foreman to establish certain rules for handling things around the property before starting work.

It was excellent! I had a leak in my roof so they came out very quickly, gave us estimate and put in a temporary patch because it was raining at the time. Then they did the roof professionally and promptly. It looks great! They cleaned up after themselves.

Our roof and gutters were damaged by a fallen tree. We didn't realize that there was also water damage until a few weeks later when an entire section of drywall fell onto our dining room table in the middle of the night. (loud - scary) So, we figured it was time to fix the roof. The roof was 32 years old and needed so much repair (which ABS would do as a short term measure although advised against) that we decided to replace the whole thing. I could not be happier with the professionalism of the ABS team. They were reasonably priced, (not the cheapest - but seemed fair). From the very beginning, they were courteous and professional on the phone, their estimator actually showed up and was on time. They came highly recommended so I decided to go with them. They explained every aspect of the job, finished on their timeline and we are happy with the job. They took good care of my fragile furniture and dishes when working in the dining room and left everything spic and span. I highly recommend this company. I will definitely be calling them again for other building projects.
