• Not very well: • Almost six months have passed since I purchased—and paid in full for—the Lynx grill. But ABW has not been able to successfully service the appliance that they delivered. So, I have not yet been able to prepare a single meal using the grill. Whenever I attempt to, I have had to give up and cook burgers or a steak inside the house. • In writing, I have requested that ABW-White Flint promptly come and remove the defective grill and that I receive a full refund. ABW has yet to do either. • I am now preparing to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. In the meantime, I definitely would not recommend buying appliances, especially high end ones, from ABW.

The delivery went well, they were timely. We had them install the refrigerator/freezer unit since it involved placing columns in place. Our electrician and plumber did the prelim work even though we had paid ABW for installation. Everything else was installed by the kitchen contractor. When it came to the blower, it was discovered that the unit was too large to fit between the floors/joist of our ceiling. We were willing to downgrade to a smaller blower. ABW would not take the item back because the box had been opened and some of the styrofoam taken out. The blower had never been taken out of the box. The told us that it was Thermador's policy not to take back items in damaged boxes. I called Thermador and spoke to Aaron in their customer service office in NC. He said, it was not Thermador's policy but it was up to the dealer to take back the items in open boxes. He also commented that we paid a sizable sum to out it our kitchen with all Thermador products and the blower was only a small piece and in his opinion the dealer should have made good by downgrading the blower to the smaller blower. After several phone calls ABW's rep (Kelly is no longer employed by ABW), said that they will not take the 1000 CFM blower back and exchange it for the 600 CFM unit. We are not kitchen professionals, we believe that ABW had the duty to inform us that a larger unit may not work in our home. They certain informed us as to all the great things about the unit and what units we should buy. They did not fulfill their duty when it came to the ventilation system for our kitchen.

I couldn'tt be happier with Blake and my whole experience at ABW. Blake recommended appliances which I am completely satisfied with. After I recived the quote, I went online to read reviews of the appliances he recommended. All positive. And I could not find a lower price anywhere! And I am the queen of finding the best deal! I've had to call for service for a few very minor things, and the response has bee very positive. Very polite staff, clean, responsive, and efficient. I highly recommend ABW to anyone who is replacing appliances. My experience has been 100% positive.

ABW had been recommended by the company doing an extensive renovation as having high quality appliances at good prices. I first met Mikelle who had an incredible fund of knowledge about everything in the store along with those that were excellent values. For the refrigerator/freezer and combination, Kitchenaid was an excellent value, but I was looking for a Euro design refrigerator/freezer that would fully fit into a 24" deep space. Unexpectedly, I was drawn to the Liebherr (which later needed some fine tuning to make the icemaker work correctly - and done by the ABW repair department). Rather than a double oven, I liked the concept behind the Miele single oven matched to a steam oven, which led to a Miele cook top. As the Miele line was changing over the time I was investigating appliances, I was fortunate to be able to buy the floor models with Mikelle's help, finding these high-end products at reasonable prices. The oven and steam oven had a few missing pieces, which ABW obtained for me at no additional cost. The dishwasher was a new Kitchenaid and washer/dryer an Electrolux combination, all at reasonable prices relative to the market. Since reconstruction was over several months, ABW held onto all purchases, which was done over several months, until the builder was ready to receive and install them. All at ABW were professional, nice, and knowledgeable about products sold, with complementary coffee on each visit.

We had no problems with the installation. However, the sales associate did get our order mixed up multiple times. We wanted to also get a microwave from them, but when they came out to do the measurement, they messed up again. We then decided to no longer do business with them.

I had a problem with ice on the back and bottom of the freezer compartment. ABW successfully repaired the problem, but it took several trips and several weeks because, as I understood the issue, the wrong part was originally ordered. ABW does not have a lot of experience repairing Liebherr refrigerators, so much of the work was done with the Liebherr representative on the telephone, making diagnostic decisions through a series of codes. ABW was easy to reach, work was scheduled relatively promptly, the service technicians arrived as scheduled, and the service personnel were friendly, but professional. I am giving a grade of B for price, but I have no comparisons, so that grade is totally subjective.

The repairman was very knowledgeable and completed his work in a thorough and diligent manner. In terms if the stove he called his supervisor for advice and guidance.

I bought a refrigerator and the entire process was very smooth: they provided all the needed information to make my choice easy, they made sure that the selected model fits into my kitchen, delivery and the installation was done well and on time.

I feel like they are charging me a lot. The work is okay, but the charges I consider very high.

It turned out great. Everything that they said would happen happened and it was a very simple process.

They were great! Chris Hemmingson was our sales person... very knowledgeable about all the appliances... answered all our questions... no complaints at all. They were delivered the day they were supposed to be.

They did a fine job. They repaired a burner that was malfunctioning.
