Gabe and his team, did an excellent job. They were at the job site at the day and time that they told me they would be. The lifting crew were efficient, diligent and professional. The crew was on the site until the house was lifted to the specified height. The preparation to lift the home was labor intensive and space was at a premium, so job well done by the lifting crew. The lowering of the house [ 4- 5 weeks later,as expected];  was labor intensive, Expert House persevered with a difficult situation and got the house lowered on to the new block foundation. The clean up and removal of the cribbing, blocking and supports was timely and efficient. I would recommend Expert House Movers of MD. to anyone. Andrew, the field sales expert , also deserves high praise for his timely responses and answering my questions completely before my choosing his company.  Expert House is  a professional company and would use them again.

I was referred to Expert House Movers (EHM) by a builder friend who had used their services in the past. I recently purchased an investment property that had a failing concrete block foundation.  Andrew was the representative that come out for the estimate, he was very responsive and polite.  I had my estimate via within email within two days. Their price was reasonable and I felt after talking with Andrew, they knew what they were doing. After lining up other contractors that were needed for the project, I went ahead and contracted with EHM, I was sent a written contract with a payment schedule spelled out which I signed.  I was given a scheduled date for the lifting, I was called three days before that date by Gabriel to confirm that the house was prepped and ready for the lift.  The crew arrived early the first day and prepped the house for the lift by installing the two steel beams and cribbing.  Then the next day they arrived at 7am, to my surprise the house was 4 feet off the foundation by 10am. I am a licensed contractor by trade but this was the first time I ever managed a project of this magnitude.  Thankfully the guy's from EHM helped and advised me every step of the way.  They even gave me instructions for the foundation mason so that the lowering would go smoothly and it did.  The house is now back on it's new foundation with no more water leaks and a nice, new taller head height basement.  Lifting or moving a house is a major project and sometimes the lowest bid on a job like this isn't necessarily the best value.  I would highly recommend Expert House Movers of Maryland.
