Delmarva Home Improvements is a Full Service Disability Remodeling Contractor. We specialize in providing Aluminum Wheelchair Ramp Rentals, for persons that are making a transition from a Hospital or Rehabilitation Center and may only need a Wheelchair Ramp for short period of time. A month or longer. Or may need the time to decide what special needs a person may have. In the begining of a illness or injury (and I have been there myself, a time or two) relatives are swamped with - "What am I going to do or need now" Renting a ramp for a month or so, will give you, the caretaker, the time to get a plan of action together. Renting a ramp allows your loved ones to come home and start their rehabilitation. Then there will be time to figure out what the long term needs might be. We can take the rental ramp out and construct a permanent wood ramp, which may be cheaper, if the wheelchair ramp is needed for a long term care situation. We can install grab bars and railings for safety. We can sit down and discuss your situation and design a plan for the next phase. For most people, a sudden injury or illness can be overwhelming.
