About us

We are a small family owned Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) company located in Sharpsburg, MD. The business was started in 1989 under the name of RW Harrell's Pump Service Inc. when Diane Harrell and Ronnie Harrell purchased a well pump and water system business from a gentleman that was retiring. Ronnie had worked in the HVAC field from the time he had graduated from high school so it was natural to add HVAC to the services that this new company would offer. They put in a new system. They had to take everything existing out. They showed up when they were supposed to and finished in a week. They were clean and efficient. It was not an easy task. They cleaned up after themselves. Very professional. The owner explained everything to us.

I have an annual contract with R.W. Harrell's Pump Service to clean and service the heating and A/C systems at my home. Their employees and always prompt, courteous and professional and ALWAYS do an excellent job with cleaning up before they leave. Their prices are reasonable and I like dealing with locally owned companies as opposed to the nationally owned companies. I would highly recommend R.W. Harrell to all of my friends and relatives for their HVAC needs.
