Great! Rick also lubed and service our second garage door While he was here and reprogrammed the outside key pad to work on that second second garage door at no additional cost. Replacement of the the first garage door opener went perfect! Would definitely use him again.

we called on Tuesday, Rick asked some questions and provided a quote to fix the current garage door opener (the board that handled the remotes was likely not working). He also provided a quote to replace it with the Liftmaster model that he installs.
We went with the new install which he did the next day. Said he'd be there between 8-11, got there about 8:45 and was done  by 9:30 or 10. Part of the original unit was still working fine (seeing eye that determines if something is blocking the door) so he left that in and gave us the part in a box if it fails.

technician came but my door was bowed due to prior damage.  He could not fix the sensors to operated correctly but offered a temporary solution which worked.  He also showed me brochures for replacement of my current door which is wood and gave an estimate with options.  A very nice and pleasant but professional technician.  Should I decide to purchase a garage door I will definitely consider Affordable Garages.

Contacted the business through Angie's List and the owner was extremely responsive.  My garage door stopped working just as I had to leave town to attend to my daughter, who was in a hospital out of state.  I contacted the business while out of state and based on my description, he determined that the springs were probably broken.  While I was away, the owner stopped by the house and was able to determine what springs the door needed and made sure to have them on hand for our appointment the day after I returned home.  While he had a prior appointment on the morning of my return, he made a point of coming to the house before his normal hours and made the repair.  Thanks to the prior stop, he had the correct springs (he was correct -- they were both broken -- my bad for not realizing the first had broken some time before) and completed the repair in less than an hour.  We are so thankful for his prompt service and the extra effort he made on our behalf.  He was very courteous and very considerate given the ordeal we'd just been through.  We highly recommend this wonderful firm!

Very pleased as he was able to come on the day that I called. He was on time and did a great job. I will hire again if needed in the future.

He came out the day after his wife died and fixed my doors and cleaned up after himself. Couldn't be more pleased! Very nice guy. Would recommend him to everyone!

Rick told me he would be at my house and was on time even though the weather was bad and traffic was terrible.  He had to build a platform to mount the new torsion springs and he installed the two doors, electric eyes, garage door opener exterior molding and ensured all controllers were programmed and the area cleaned up.  Rick left me with two repeater controllers for use with my cars in the event I was not able to program the in-vehicle system.  He provided me with a compete review of the system and answered all of my questions.  The doors are a great upgrade from what we had previously which were contractor grade and allowed air to blow into the garage.  Both my wife and I are extremely happy with our experience with this installation and would certaintly recommend this contractor for anyone who is looking to upgrade their garage doors.

Polite, prompt and quality workmanship. Rick was a real nice guy, called straight away when I first messaged him through Angie's list about a quote. Turned up on time no hassle no fuss. Highly recommended if I need another door in the future I am calling rick no second thoughts about it.

Great job! He was here within two hours of the call just as promised and fixed the problem quickly. This is the second time I have used them with great results. Very fairly priced for the service.

He was excellent. He gave me information on the phone and gave me good advice.  He came from Annapolis, about 45 minutes away and gave me a list of what needed to be done. The price includes the installation, the 2 remotes, keypad and belt drive to lift the door.
