Florists
Severna Flowers & Gifts exhibited no quality control by delivering dead, damaged and old flowers. To add insult to injury Severna Flowers & Gifts has declined my request for full refund .Severna Flowers and Gifts owner's position that I unreasonably delayed requesting a refund is specious given his knowledge communication in our area was non existent due to an extensive and lengthy power outage resulting from a hurricane. Lastly, why on earth would any sane person accept a credit from a florist who exhibits no quality control and/or professionalism by delivering dead flowers. Severna Flowers & Gifts declined a request from Angie List to submit to arbitration. Therefore, I filed a complaint with my credit card company, which agreed Severna Flowers & Gift's service/product was substandard and I was awarded a full and complete refund.

"The member's request for a full refund was received via fax on Thursday, September 8, 2011. Severna Park Florist Inc. responded via email to the member. We explained that we usually replace the product when a problem with our product is reported within a few days of receipt. In this case, the member notified us of a problem seven days after the delivery was made. We understand that perhaps the member was not made aware that there was a problem until that time, what we find unusual is that the recipient did not notify us of the problem, especially since the member claims upon delivery, flowers were broken and the arrangement appeared to be unsatisfactory. Most people call us when they receive something they feel is not in good shape and we always replace the item in question, once again, within a reasonable amount of time. Since there was a week lapse in time we offered the member a $30 credit and apologized for the inconvenience. Our offer still stands but has been declined by the member. Bill Dyott, owner."
