I feel the cost for each service was fair. Each one of the jobs performed was done in a timely manner and if there were additional issues (i.e. issue locating replacement part), I was called in a timely manner and provided an update as to when the car would be ready.

They do good work. They just do good work for a reasonable price. They have a respectful track record.

They are very honest and they don't try to up-sale you when you go for an oil change. It's a very clean shop and they work fast. They don't have a lot of staff rotations, so you know the people that work there really know their business.

Check engine light was determined to be due to low airflow to a portion of the engine. Magothy Auto's technicians ran multiple diagnostics to determine the exact cause of the low airflow, and came to the conclusion it was likely due to a hose connected to the air intake system that was rattling loose at speed. They replaced the hose and the light went out.
However, they were not completely satisfied that this was the full solution, so they wouldn't accept payment for their services. They asked us to bring it back if the light came back on.
We've now used Magothy Auto for the last two years, and every time it's the same story. They always seem to come in under their estimated costs, and they stand behind their work 100%. I've recommended them to many friends and colleagues.

The date and cost are complete guesses, as it has been many years since I last used Magothy for automotive work, but I felt that I needed to comment on my experiences with this establishment.
I used to use Magothy Auto Services regularly for the maintenance of my vehicles. While using them, I always found them to be very knowledgeable of all aspects of auto repair and diagnoses. I also found their prices to be very reasonable for the services they provided/
The only reason why I stopped using them was because I moved and it was incovenient to get to them. I did use them for a couple of years after I moved until I found a new service center that was more local to my new location, and both as reasonable in cost and had the necessary expertise to maintain our vehicles in a manner equal, or near-equal, to the level of service I received at Magothy Auto.
I highly recommend this business for all your auto service needs.

Not many details. Had to have the truck towed there and they had it fixed in two days, which is not bad considering everyone else was too busy to even look at it until the next week . Removing the fuel tank is alot of work andI think $400 is a fair price for parts, labor, and diagnosis. THey did warn me that there might be issues with fuel lines/ corrosion that could be an added expense, but there were no issues and I beleve the repair came in $20 under estimate

I spent about $75 for their services. Somebody might think that the price was high, but it was a good price for the service that I received. I was able to make an appointment and I stayed there while they did the work. It was also done in a reasonable amount of time and I didn't have to wait for long.

I used to have two vehicles. I just gave away one of them that my husband used to have since he is on a wheelchair now and he won’t be driving it again. The mechanics at Magothy Auto are very good as well as very busy. The gentleman who owns it has opened another business. He lives on the eastern side. He is very professional and all the guys that he hires know what they are doing. I have been there with different cars. I used to have a Cadillac and I now have a Ford SUV. He has done many different things on my cars. They have done a wonderful job. They rotate the tires and do what they are supposed to do. It’s clean, neat and tidy when the car is out. I just pay the bill and drive off. The price that I paid during my last visit was fair and I don’t worry about the price. They will tell you about the price before they do something. There are a lot of places that don’t tell you about the price upfront. I can have my car towed in if the car doesn’t start at all and he would fix it for me. They don’t try to get money but they try to keep up with their work. They have cars parked all over all the time. People just stop by and ask them to have the car fixed while going to work and someone takes them to work. I can go in there early like 8 o’clock in the morning and I can wait until they are done. If there is anything major, then I can take a taxi home. I don’t go to the dealership because they don’t fix problems that their mechanics goof up on. You will have to pay for the mistakes they make. However, I don’t face such problems with Magothy Auto because I know whatever they do is right. I would definitely use their services in the future too since I don’t trust anybody else.

As above. I would rate them, over the years, A+, consistent, great work, if it's min or, they tell you that. If it's major, they tell you that. Realistic and reasonable. Trust is a wonder ful!

They said that they could not handle the issue and referred us to someone else. We had another person who said that it would be a $4000 to $5000 repair. However the people whom Magothy referred us to got all the work done for under $3000. I appreciated their honesty and their excellent recommendation. They charged me a very minimal charge to look over the issue.

They did a really good job. They were nice and professional. They gave me honest advice on the power steering leak that even saved me money. My neighbor recommended them to me and I would definitely recommend them as well.

They do complete auto and marine repair. He is very super neat. They have a clean waiting area and they are very honest and let you know exactly what is wrong with your car. They might not be the least expensive but I know I can depend on them and the quality of their work.
