terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!

The installation went well and completed on time. The refinishing job was awful as well as late - the floor looked like it was striped. We had chosen a dark stain, but some areas of the floor were still practically blond. The crew got stain all over our baseboards and walls and didn't bother to clean it up. They left many orbital sander scrapes on the floors and stairs; they also cut into the sides of the stairs and left large gouges behind. The stain on the stairs and kickboards and around the fireplace had obvious dripmarks on them. The 2 topcoats were applied IMMEDIATELY after the stain (all three within 6 hours!) instead of allowing 24 hours to dry as recommended on the can - resulting in a mottled finish. The first time we saw the work we complained and had our salesperson come out to view the work. He agreed that it was unacceptable and persuaded us to allow the workers to try and remedy the situation. Instead, they did pretty much the same job again, though the stain's color and evenness came out better. This entire project was planned to be finished about a month prior to our move-in date. However, due to the poor worksmanship and constant delays, the job was not complete in time for us to move into the house. This required us to put our furniture into storage for three weeks while we fired this company and hired another to finish the job properly. The company did agree to charge us no more than the down payment (1/3 of the original $10,000 estimate), mostly to cover the new wood installed in the bedrooms. Overall the service was deplorable and the workers were not prompt or thorough. The company did not provide proper oversight of the workers or send people out to monitor them - even after they messed up the first job. They continued to be tardy and unreliable throughout the second job as well.

THEY WERE TERRIBLE! THEY DID NOT SHOW UP TO THE JOB WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. THEY WOULD LEAVE AND NOT COME BACK AND IT TOOK FOREVER TO FINISH THE JOB. I WAS NOT HAPPY.

I FELT THAT THEY WERE ON TIME WITH THE WORK. THEY WERE FINISHED A DAY BEFORE SCHEDULE. THEIR PRICE WAS VERY GOOD, IT WAS A GOOD BUDGET PLAN THAT THEY WORKED WITH ME ON. I WAS JUST PLEASED.
