I needed a big wrench to adjust the drive belt on my motorcycle, and a young man named Mike, helped me. I rode the bike to the store, so I could make sure I got the right size wrench. Mike pulled out a socket wrench and an adjustable crescent wrench and we walked outside to see which one would fit. They both fit the nut on the bike, so I went back inside to pay for them. Then, Mike pops up with another wrench. This one had a nice long handle. We went back outside to make sure that it would fit, too. I was so happy with the service, I bought them all. This hardware store is legendary in our area, and this is the reason why.

Clement Hardware is the "old fashioned" hardware store you remember going to as a child with your father, but is also totally up to date in their products and services. They have just about everything, and then some, and their employees are KNOWLEDGEABLE about the products they sell. When you go to buy those mysterious items you need to repair whatever doesn't work anymore, instead of rows of bins and a kid who doesn't have a clue or a bored person in a red apron, there is someone who actually knows how the pieces go together and will walk you about and help you find what you need. The paint department is wonderful and their prices on Benjamin Moore paint are lower than anyone else's in the area. They have a mind boggling array of decorative door and cabinet hardware, including the best quality and designer lines. These products are sold at a 40% to 50% discount off of the retail price. Although it's a hike for us to get there, it's well worth the trip and we highly recommend them.
