locksmith
 + -1 moreA very bad experience. When we challenged the final bill and undisclosed costs, we were told by the locksmith that he had no power to make changes - these were company rates. We called the main office multiple times and were told the rates were correct and they would not adjust the bill. They never asked why we had an issue, just that it was correct and would not be changed. Before using any locksmith, verify they have a real address.
Description of Work: Locksmith called to clear jammed lock (broken stick in lock from 9 year old son). Initial call was to have locksmith come out and clear lock. Told over phone $39.00 for service call and then what ever it took to clear/fix or replace lock. Once on site, we were told the lock had to be drilled and replaced after one attempt to turn the key. No other effort made. Told it would be an additional $90.00 over the $39.00 service call. Then another $30.00 to re-key the lock (not disclosed before) suddenly came up for the cost of the lock. It was explained at that point that the $90.00 mentioned for the lock before was for the labor of drilling out the lock only. $159.00 suddenly jumped to $244.00 - after the work was completed.
