Ben did a great job and was on time and extremely thorough. I would highly recommend him for anything to do with your clock. Clocks appear to be his passion and his customers satisfaction are just as important.

The repair fellow was on time and informative and professional. Learned a lot of what to do to maintain the clock. He fixed everything up to working order again and checked its function overall. The clock ended up not needing repair, just regular maintenance. Working great!

Excellent! Gregory knew a tremendous amount about clocks. At first, he wasn't quite sure if he would be able to restore the clock but he was able to and it functions perfectly now. He informed me that grandfather clocks need to be cleaned every 3 years which is something I did not previously know. A couple weeks later, I noticed the clock was running slow so I called the store and they walked me through how to fix the time so it would be accurate.

I was exceptionally pleased with the service--from response time to completion of the job.  The clock had not been regularly maintained and after 30 more than years was beginning to show signs of wear--imagine that! I got a mini-lesson on the inner workings of the clock as the situation was explained to me in detail and I was shown the wear on the moveable parts.  There were no surprises in the cost or time estimate to complete the job.  Both were exactly as quoted, based on a phone consultation and assessment.  I did, however, understand that if maintenance and repair required more than we anticipated, it may cost more.  The phone assessment was accurate, and accordingly, the repair cost was exactly as quoted.  The price was very fair. I'm so glad that I contacted Hands of Time. I feel very comfortable and satisfied with the service and will continue to use them for all clock maintenance and repairs.

This clock is a family heirloom and this is its fourth move. It had not been wound for months. Staff removed the works and chimes and packaged them securely for the moving company. After the move they unpacked it, cleaned the works, lubricated them, reassembled them, wound the clock, and set it running. They told us a few details about the make and condition of the clock.

I emailed them in April and they got right back with me. I went in within a few days and dropped off the clock. I put down half for the deposit. It wasn't suppose to be ready until August but it was ready by the end of June. August seemed like a long time to wait for the repair but I would rather them give me the latest date and have it ready earlier than thinking it should be ready and having to wait. They repaired the inner workings and cleaned it. They even called me with a question right before it was ready to ask if I wanted something else fixed or if I wanted it left that way. The price did seem a little high to me in comparison with purchasing a replacement clock but I don't really know the going price for fixing clocks. I thought they were very nice and pleasant to deal with.

Kenny took the movement out and oiled and cleaned my grandfather clock for two hours. This was by far the best cleaning my grandfather clock has had. I would reccomend Hands of Time again.

I've been going there for years. They are amazing and they do a nice job. The gentleman is Ben Johnson. He is a young guy in his 30's. He is a great guy and he does a great job. I recommended him to a friend. I have several clocks from them. He cleans the clock out and it is amazing how many Q-tips he used. He used a bag of Q-tips; I was shocked. He takes the guts out and brings it back to life. They have an amazing staff. The guys are incredible. He is coming back Saturday to replace the pendulum. I was telling Ben about a friend that has a one-of-a-kind grandmother's clock that hasn't been working in a few years and his eyes lit up like Santa Claus. He is dying to bring it back to life and give it a heartbeat again. He is a great guy and he is a good friend.

They are very knowledgeable, professional and honest. Every clock was returned in excellent working order, and they took time to clean the cases as well as the inner workings.
