World Gym - Salisbury

It's good. I like it. I really love it there. But it's too expensive. I can't afford it. It doesn't have an indoor heated pool. It's newer. I like the Zumba there a lot. If I wouldn't go back there, it wouldn't be because anything is bad, it's because of the price. I would recommend it to people.

I like everything with my personal trainer except at the very end. My husband had paid for the services of the personal trainer who was advertised to the gym because he was there asking for personal trainers and gave a binder-full that shows us the different ones so we could choose, so I chose this personal trainer and she was wonderful but when it came down to the end. I signed-up for 12 sessions and my last session she asked me, "Did you sign-up for 8 sessions or 12?," and I said, "12," and she said, "I thought so but I wasn't sure," but that was my last session and so when I went in the gym, she wasn't there and I left and finally after 2 missed ones, I went to the office and they were upset with this personal trainer because she had just told them that she was finished but I was upset with the gym because my answer back was a $92 back, the difference between the 12 sessions and the 8 sessions and they told me I had to bring that up with her. There's no way she could have afford to pay me that $92 but my husband and I felt like it's the gym's responsibility because the check was made out for World Gym not the personal trainer. I don't know what a financial agreement they have with personal trainer but we shouldn't be in the middle of it to negotiate at that point. They are the contractors and not the personal trainer and if it's not that way, then it wasn't clear t us that it was a personal contract with the person who trained us. I just felt that it was poor business on World Gym's part. The trainer was very professional and she would e-mail you your routine, very qualifies, concern, remember your problems and she's wonderful except at the end. They didn't communicate with the conditions of a personal training was. My husband went once with his personal trainer and then have to go that personal trainer and he was so overworked by a different personal trainer and I didn't have this problem but he was so overwork that he needed physical therapy that the insurance paid for because his rotator calf was unfitted and he has never gone back but I like to go to use the treadmill, that kind of stuff and yes, I should change I guess, except the that bunch of my friends have class Monday, Wednesday, Friday and I kind of want to join my friends.

The equipment and the maintenance is two-fold. I'm personally not interested, but they offer a number of group activities. They have classes and themesto partner up so help people stick to their programs.
