In December we started having issues with the furnace on the house we had bought in summer 2013. We called another company and they said that our ventilation system was set up all wrong and needed to be redone. Made no sense since it had been working fine for years for the previous owners.
We did some trouble shooting, got the system to work, but it would keep cutting out. I called the previous owner and he said WicomicoHand A had installed the system. They came to look. One of the heat exchangers was shot, heat was building up in the system, and it was tripping the furnace off. The exchanger was under warranty so we only paid labor for that portion. They came and replaced and we were good to go...until it started tripping again.
Apparently when the system was originally installed, the condensate drain lines were not installed correctly, Water was backing up into the system (and eventually overflowed and messed up the ceiling in the master bedroom) causing the heat to build up, which led to the exchanger getting gunked up and burning out... anyway, once the drain lines were fixed everything was great. Hopefully we don't have any issues this winter.
The only negative I can say is that since they were the ones that did the original install, that is a bad sign that they did not even hook up the drain lines correctly and it came to this. I do not think that the employees they had at that time are working there anymore (according to one of the recent repair man).

We have been with Wicomico Heating and Air for about 25 years now. Most of the time we had Rolland as a service tech. He is very friendly and explains in detail about any problems we have had. Jennifer usually answers the phone when you call. She is also very friendly, like you have been friends for years. We have gotten 2 new heat-pumps and air-handlers installed over the years by them. The service continues to be very good. We do recommend them for all your Heating and Air conditioning needs.

As far as their work - good. As far as cleaning-up their mess up at the end of the day it was non-existent! Also they used only one drop cloth! The rest of my NEW floors got mud, cut grass and sheet rock shavings all over them! I would not have them work in my home again.

Actually, I would recommend them to others. The price is probably standard. I am a regular client. They have a service contract with me that I have entertained to.

Their proposal was competitive with the other companies. The service people arrived on time. They handled the installation efficiently and professionally. The unit is working well and we would use their services again if needed. We will be taking a service contract but haven't needed any service to-date.

Their price was in line with everybody else but they were higher than the company I went with.
