Within about a week of the phone call, TreeTech came and removed a spruce tree in our yard, including grinding the stump. The cleanup was excellent - within 2 hours of their arrival the tree was gone, there was zero mess, and you never would have guessed they were there.

Mr. Robinson's company Treetech came and removed the two trees , however there were three problems encountered
1) I wants the stumps left for carving and they apparently made a very large cut into the base of one of the stumps as if to remove it. My guess is that my direction to leave a 4' section of stump wasn't communicated to the person running the chain saw. I had to find that for myself, he never made mention of it.
2) One of the sections was to be milled, he never got back to me on that.
And this is the big one,
3) They damaged an invisible fence wire that was in the area of the work- I'm not entirely sure how you damage something under the ground if your cutting trees with a 4' stump to be left over. The cost of the repair was 100 dollars. When I contacted them about this, they're attitude was and quot;Not our problemand quot;
The fact they wouldn't meet half way and the fact there general attitude about it set me to writing this review.
They got the trees down, the price was better than their competitor, but the complications have me wishing I had used Beaver Tree instead.

Response from TREETECH
"Dear [members name], While we appreciate your review of Treetech Inc, your facts are not completely true. Your husband did hire us for the removal of dead trees for the price of $900. We completed the work on Jan 17, 2014. You are correct in the fact that an invisible fence was damaged, however, prior to the work being started, [members name] asked your husband if there was anything that could be damaged since the trees were so dead, they were too hazardous to be climbed. [Members name] assured that there was nothing that could be hurt in that wooded area. When the dead pieces were dropped, we told your husband that some sort of line had been broken. He confirmed it was an underground dog fence, of which we had no prior knowledge of, but said don't worry about it. You are right about the four foot section being left and notched and you are correct in that being a miscommunication with the groundsman and for that we certainly apologize. The four foot sections are completely strong enough to withstand a carving that it was intended for. The wood to be milled was loaded and taken to my shop, free of charge, as I was directed by your husband, but he has never said anymore about that. At this time, it is still there waiting for a go ahead by you two. A bill was sent out after the work was completed, along with a second notice nearly 60 days after the fact, and only then, was it brought up about the $102 repair to the underground fence. We immediately called your husband back went over the scenario again, and while we didn't say, "not our problem" we did ask [members name] how we would have known about the underground fence when we our communication indicated otherwise. [Members name] response was, "You wouldn't have." We strive for satisfied customers and have in fact on previous occasions had to make repairs on damages incurred by our staff, however, we strongly feel this is not one of them and relayed that information to [members name] on the phone. Also confused as to the writing of this review by [members name] when there was never any communication with her whatsoever. We stand by our reputation and feel it speaks for itself for many of our satisfied customers over the last 20 years."

My husband dealt with them. Our neighbor gave us their name. They cleaned up really nicely. They put the waste tree parts that my husband wanted to keep in a nice pile where we told them to put them. We would use them again. They did a good job.

.We had 10 (30 foot) Lelands removed from the side of our property and a couple of other trees shaped. Access was mainly from the driveway and an adjacent road. Crew of 6 and equipment showed up as specified and started with removing lower branches before falling the trees and moving them to the shredder. They worked steady and were completed by mid-afternoon. The crew leader asked about the additional work and I said they were to top the maple and trim the pine. A few minutes later I got a call from the owner of the company questioning what I wanted done. As it turned out if the crew had done what I said I probably would have lost the maple. I am grateful for them catching my mistake. The other thing that was impressive to me was the way they left the site with very little evidence of the work. Not only was the driveway clean of wood chips but so was the road.
Very nicely done!
