SHORE APPLIANCE CONNECTION

It went well. Advised me that the repairs would be more expensive than buying a new one.

It took six visits by the serviceman (who was very professional and tried to do his job) and multiple calls to the salesman and finally a call to the owner to get everything installed correctly so that it worked as intended.  Fundamentally, the salesman did not know how the product worked and how it could be installed with existing ductwork, fan, and electrical wiring.  Initially -- before purchase -- I was told that it should be no problem.  Then after it was in our home, the previous cooktop was gone, and two holes had been cut through our cabinetwork, he started telling me that I didn't understand the problems.  Yet, after discussion with the owner and another visit, everything was installed approproiately.  Nonetheless, I now have two redundant switches on the side of the cabinet.

The sales lady was very nice and attentive.  I ordered my Samsung refrigerator because they didn't have the Stainless in stock.  I waited and right before they were to deliver it they called and said they did not place the order because it would have cost them more money to put on the order and they offered me the one they had in stock (all black) and said it was $100.00 less expensive and would send me a check.  The delivery had to be when it was convenient for them and not me and now that I have it in here, I wish I had just gone to Lowes to get the same one that they had in stock or to Fran's and ordered it.  I don't like the black finish on the doors because every little smudge shows up!  And I didn't notice the scratch on the door right away either.  I would NOT go to them again.  Since I purchased this I have also been told by other people they do not honor their warranties and blame the customer for causing the problem with the appliance.
