You don't have to schedule an appointment, they take you right up. They tell you how long it is going to be. You go to their waiting area and they have food and drinks, TV and whatever you need. It is very comfortable. An hour later it was done like they said, and out the door I went. There was no charge. They told me an hour and then we were done. I will use them again.

I have had auto service done here and also at Pohanka's Honda dealership. From my discussions with the Quality Control representative Pohanka has a and quot;gooserand quot; program that automatically adds charges to your service bill. They charge you a and quot;shop feeand quot; for recycling your oil and fluids which seems to vary all over the place. For my last service they charged me for 7 quarts of oil even though my Avalon only takes 6 quarts of oil. They resolved this by giving me a credit against my next service rather than cash back.
I had originally gone to an independent service shop to have the oil change, filter and tire rotation. The mechanic could not loosen the lug nuts on two of the wheels because they had been overtorqued. I have locking nuts on the wheels and the mechanic had to apply so much force that he stripped the locking wrench. This cost me $19 to replace. He could not get the oil filter off because it had been overtorqued also. Pohanka did admit that the filter and nuts had been and quot;slightlyand quot; over tightened and was able to get them off.
Pohanka Toyota has a beautiful new showroom and service shop which you pay for when you go in for service. I think the quality of their service techs varies. I would prefer finding a good independent mechanic whose quality you can depend on consistently. I also think you will get a fairer price.

They are excellent. They have a new building and a new waiting room. I get free oil changes with my car purchase.
