Ridge vent was poorly installed and damaged during installation. Roof and vent were suppose to last for 30 years and was considered to be the highest quality roof at the time.

It looked good at first until many years later, I found so many installation problems. Most of those problems included poor quality of installation.

I would never recommend this company! They sent 2 roofers to my home to repair my roof and one of them tracked tar into my house; across a bedroom, down a hallway and down 2 flights of stairs! Although they admit responsibility they are now ignoring my phone calls. I've had to consult with an attorney to try to get remedy for the damages! Beware of this unscrupulous contractor!!

Customer service was wonderful. Friendly, courteous, and very helpful. Everyone was nice and the work was done very promptly and professionally. We are very pleased. Cost was more than fair.

I first called Peninsula Roofing to give me an estimate on a roof repair. They would not make an appointment but stated, "they would come whenever they had time." I was also told they don't do estimates on repairs, they just fix the roof and bill you per hour.  About two weeks later they came out and looked at my roof and said that it would require an estimate and they would then schedule a return time. About a month later I called them and they had not gotten around to putting together an estimate yet. They came out about 3-4 weeks later (without calling) and starting removed removing shingles. They then said the repair was more extensive than they thought and that they would have to re-schedule (again). About a month later I called and they said they were very busy and would get to the repair when they had time. About a month after that I contacted them and cancelled the job (after more than 4 months with a leaking roof). I called another company and the roof was repaired within a week.

Two months after I cancelled my service with the company, the called telling me I have a $400 bill for the never-performed work.

they came early and did the job in one day. They cleaned up nicely.

They were prompt to arrive, thorough and reasonably priced. The scheduler was professional in her explanation of the process. Explained if charges were $500 or less, they would repair on the spot. The laborers were clear in explanation of performing the work to be done.

I received an estimate for replacing my roof on my home. The vice president was out within days and the estimate was recieved promptly. I am very impressed with the detail of the estimate! Everything is very professional. I have

not yet made a decision on the roofing as I am still mulling over the extent and costs of all other damages from super storm Sandy and how much I will have to come up with after insurance payment. So far, this company appears to me to be of very high quality.

Even though the cost of the job should have been $700, he only charged me $500 like he originally quoted. I would recommend them to anybody. I called him in the morning, he called me back within 30 minutes and was at my house within about 45 minutes, even though it was a Sunday. He was very nice and fixed the roof very quickly. He came out in the pouring rain to patch up the roof. He saw that the whole roof had rotted and the next day he came back to fix the roof around the chimney permanently.
