The need for state permits was the first hurdle of this project.  Korey was extremely professional and knowledgeable in dealing with MDE.  It took two years of intense negotiations to obtain the required permit.  MDE was making it so difficult that my husband and I were ready to give up but Korey persisted.  After mounds of correspondence, numerous phone calls as well as soliciting the help of local politicians Korey was able to get the upper echelon of MDE to visit our site.  Shortly after the on-site negotiation we were issued the required permit.  Work finally began.  First Korey excavated the waterfront in order to  install the revetment (filter cloth with large stones on top).  Then the project began to pour the concrete underwater boat ramp.  Although tides and weather were not fully cooperating Korey was able to keep the other contractor on the job, doing and redoing the cofferdam needed to hold back the tide in order to pour concrete.  After the concrete portion of the boat ramp was completed Korey laid the decorative pavers at the top of the ramp.   We are more than delighted with our new waterfront.  Korey's professionalism and dedication to doing the best job possible shows what an outstanding individual he is. 
A few years prior to the waterfront project Korey built a decorative block wall around the front of our house.  Although not as difficult as the waterfront project he performed in a professional manner.  We were so pleaseed with the work on the wall we naturally thought of Korey when planning the waterfront project.
