"Thank you Mrs. [member name removed] for the review. I appreciate and respect Mrs. [member name removed]'s opinion on the topic. I recognize her frustration and wish our company could have served this client better. However, there are some key elements missing from the complaint that are crucial to understand our motivation to continue working for this client. Mrs. [member name removed] did not hire John D. Chaudron Shower Door & Mirror Co. Inc. directly and our relationship was not with Mrs. [member name removed] but rather Huber Fine Homebuilding. Our contract and agreement was solely with Huber and not with Mrs. [member name removed] so, there is a minor misrepresentation. Secondly, Huber has not paid us for the work completed as far back as October when the custom shower door and mirror were installed. We did a wonderful job on the glass and Mrs. [member name removed] agreed in her response. The real issue is we hesitate to continue working for a client when we have not been paid for work completed especially when it has been more than three months. Mrs. [member name removed] may or may not be aware of that payment situation with Huber and we did not want to complicate our relationship with Huber out of respect. Mrs. [member name removed] was frustrated and simply operating on the premise that we were being inattentive and irresponsible which we were not. We provide excellent services and products delivered professionally for more than 30 years. I invite Mrs. [member name removed] to reach out to us and we will gladly complete the new glass table tops. Hopefully we will have been paid by that time and can serve her properly."

"The member originally had a heavy plate shower enclosure by another company. She was having a leakage problem and had water damage from the leak. Again this WAS NOT our door. Her tile man had removed her door so he could replace her damaged walls. After the work was done, the member called us and asked us to put the door back on which we did. The door was reinstalled. The bottom hinge was still in the sill and never removed. All we did was mount he top hinge in the SAME holes as created by the original installation. We certainly had no control over how this door operated, any gaps, or leakage.All we did was what was asked which was reinstall HER door. There is no way we can guarantee the operation of this door when we did not see the door prior to removal. The member never called our office to voice any dissatisfaction or we could have seen what options we could have offered her. This customers was advised in the beginning and her invoice was noted according that NO WARRANTIES can be issued because we did not originally install this door. I am sorry to say that customers like this have forced us to decline when requests are made in the future to reinstall another contractors work."
