A three-person crew showed on the day scheduled and completed the job within 4.5 work days (I was thinking 3 days). They were courteous and worked carefully around my plants and bushes. I am pleased with their workmanship and with the front office staff. The price was a driving factor in my decision and I believe I got very good value for the job needed. I have already recommended them to my neighbor who has been complimentary of the job FM did for me.

Fence Masters was an excellent company to work with. John was professional, courteous, and always encouraging me to call him if I had any concerns. I received the call that the fencing was in, I told John we were have party in 2 days . He assured me that they woulld be completed the work by then. In fact they finished early. When the fence was being installed there was a miscommunication on our part. I called John and he said he would be out to look at the problem, In the meantime, if his crew showed up to speak to DJ, I did and he was most helpful when i explained the situation to him. He showed me how he was going to resolve the problem and asked if I was satisfied, which I was. John showed up and I informed him that the problem was solved. The work was completed quickly, efficiently and clean up was great. From the first contact with Fence Masters to the completed work, this was the most plesant experience we have ever had. Great service and employees.

The entire process with Fence Masters was excellent. Justin, the estimator, was punctual to the initial meeting to map out the fence and was well-versed in speaking to the product used. He also followed up during the entire process to make sure that we were satisfied. He was especially patient when we ran into unforeseen issues with our HOA. The installers were professional, extremely competent, and left the installation area neat and tidy. I've encouraged my neighbors who are now looking into having fences installed to use Fence Masters.

Fence Masters work for us was done in two phases: removing the fence and stacking it in the corner of our yard, then coming back to replace the fence in an agreed-upon new layout. They were patient, professional, and cost-effective from start to finish. The estimating process was quick but thorough, and when it came time to measure and place the new fence, their representative was incredibly helpful and detail-oriented. Everything was confirmed ahead of the work being done: where posts would be placed, how the sections should slope, how high to hang things off the ground, where to place a gate and how it should swing, etc. They also counted and maximized the number of posts and pickets that they could re-use, versus ones they would have to order new -- so there were no surprises when it came to the price. The work was done in a very reasonable timeframe and they communicated well with us about when we could expect workmen on-site. Work was done very professionally and clean-up was thorough. Overall we had no complaints and would gladly use them again!

Jody was very informative throughout the entire process. He made sure to explain everything in great detail and provide me with different options. He was in touch with me to schedule or cancel (due to inclement weather) the install in reasonable time. Karen in the office was efficient with the paperwork. The fence looks beautiful, enhancing the property. Would use this company again.

We were interested in a cedar fence and it needed to match our neighbors in style. As it was summer they did have a lot of jobs lined up and we had a longer wait between signing our contract and in having our fence put in, but part of this was due to their willingness to work around our vacation schedule. I do not believe installation would have been any quicker with a larger firm. In fact some expressly said when they gave us their bid it would be a longer wait then we experiences with Fence Masters. I would highly recommend this firm!

We noticed that 4 of our fence post caps were missing and were most likely blown off during a wind storm. We contacted Fence Masters, who installed our fence 2 years ago to order replacements. Karen responded immediately and said they should have the post caps in stock and that TJ would be by to put them in at no cost. True to their word, TJ came by with the replacements, installed them, and he checked about 30 other post caps to make sure they were secure. This level of customer service is exceptional. Fence Masters was willing to make this service call two years after the original installation and also apologized that the caps blew off in the first place. We were prepared to pay for the materials and were pleasantly surprised that they covered this. We were so impressed with the professionalism, graciousness, and courtesy shown to us by Karen and TJ. Fence Masters is a company that truely puts their customers first. Thanks!

Craig put up wooden fencing as well as wire fencing in the back yard 10 years ago, and the latter was rusted, falling down, and separated from the ground. This is expected given 10 years of many severe storms. Our dog was escaping under it hence some urgency. Incidentally, she was finding deer leg bones and running into the house with them, so even more urgency but pretty funny really. Craig came right out and replaced I think 400 linear feet of fencing, anchoring well to the ground. He trimmed some of the wood areas where they were scraping the ground and replaced the hardware. The work was professional, reasonable, neat and functional. Plus Craig is a genuinely nice guy. I'm perplexed by the couple of bad marks in these reviews and I'd just suggest if you have a question or problem to recontact him. In that vein, I wasn't entirely clear myself and he came back at no extra charge to adjust some things.

After meeting with several contractors, we were pleased with TJ Topper's estimate as well as his knowledge of fencing. He recommended a cedar fence at a very reasonable price. The day of the install TJ arrived to ensure his crew knew what the project entailed. The fence looks great and we would recommend.

Estimate - Sales:
- TJ, our estimater, showed up on time, and was very thorough and professional.
- TJ spend a good 45 minutes going over all the details of the job. TJ offered solutions for problem areas. TJ asked unobtrusive lifestyle questions on how we used the yard, pool and pet requirements.
- TJ provided the estimate in a few days and the price fell in the mid range of the other estimates.
Installation:
- The crew was very professional and respectful of our property. Ross was the team leader and was extremely professional.
- The crew started on time but the completion date took a little longer than anticipated. Our yard has logistical challenges as it borders 5 other properties with neighor's trees, sheds, utility poles, a garage all within close range of our property line. An existing aluminum fence that had to be removed was anchored in very tightly and it took more effort to remove it properly than anticipated. Given these issues, the work was completed in a reasonable amount of time. There was only one minor miscommunication about the completion date, which was cleared up immediately.
- In tight fitting areas, the crew had to be innovative with the fence product and did a marvelous job getting it to look nice.
- Crew took into consideration that we have a dog that likes to escape (squeezing her way from the bottom of the fence) and did their best to make the fence close to the ground without compromising visual line quality. In areas where the elevation did not make this possible, the crew fully explained the limitation before proceeding with the install.
- Installation was of high quality and has enhanced the value of our home.
- Estimator and crew were very detail oriented and fence was installed exactly the way it was explained and was on the contract.
Fence quality:
- The Certainteed line of fencing is top of the line vinyl fencing. The Sierra Blend color looks natural and will be extremely low maintenance. Given the tight borders and logistical issues, this product is ideal over a wooden fence as it will not require painting, or sealing. We only need to squirt it off with a hose.
- The color coordinates with our roof color and is extremely attractive. With our house being red brick, a white vinyl fence would have been too stark.
- While we were always leaning towards this type of fence, TJ confirmed our choices during our consultation.
Comparison to other fence companies:
- The least expensive company wanted $10,500 for the same exact work. However, the estimator spent only 10 minutes measuring the yard and not offering any solutions to problem areas we identified. He downplayed the complexities of the job, which left it ambiguous on how some areas would be completed.
- The most expensive company wanted $14, 400 for the same exact work. The estimator was professional and spent a good amount of time onsite. However, when he called back with the estimate, he sounded disinterested in the job and made claims that the Certainteed product would take much longer to get -- which I did not believe because Fence Masters gave a delivery estimate and it was much sooner (The product also arrived on time.) He also acknowledged that the estimate was high and kept stressing the challenges of our yard. Our yard does have its challenges but these were not insurmountable. We felt the company was not interested in the job as this exchange was awkward.

Received estimate from three fence companies. Mr. Topper was prompt and recommended the right type fence at a fair price. Contracted with them. Workers were polite and knew what they were doing. Install went smooth fence looks great. Have had several positive comments on it.

I am in the process of restoring an old home, and there was quite a bit of work to be done. After having a very bad experience with a different company, I contacted Fence Masters to come and repair the faulty fencing and gates around my house. The workers at Fence Masters were very prompt and professional, and they were able to find the cause of each of the problems. Fence Masters re-planted the support posts, so that the fence sat correctly, and they were able to correctly and securely mount the gates, so that they would open and lock properly. I was quite satisfied with their work, and I would go back to them if I needed fence work again.

Jody came in a timely manner to do an estimate and was patient in describing various options. He returned the estimate quickly and the fence was ordered and installed within a 3 week window. He came on the day of installation to confirm details and the two workers who installed the fence were quick, careful, polite, and neat...restoring the area of the yard that needed some excavation.

I was very pleased with the installation and would highly recommend them to others. I love my new fence. It looks great and I've gotten a number of compliments. I'm considering having the remaining portion of my chain link fence on the side of my yard replaced with a 48" high version of the open picket style in another year or two.

The employees were on time and very polite and answered all questions. The fence was at a great price, and discount was given if others in the neighborhood were purchasing also. The end product was excellent.
