East Coast Tree Care

We've used East Coast twice now for tree trimming and tree removal. Their teams are so professional, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Plus I like that they are women owned and operated! Their pricing is also much better than competitors.

They did a team approach, came in and grind the stomp for us and after that, they did some cutting of branches with the kindness of their heart. They put some grass seeds and leveled of that particular area because it was completely bald. They will come back in the spring to reseed the ground and add top soil and straw.

Badly. I would not recommend this tree company. The company does not take pride in its work. It nickels and dimes its customers for every little thing that should be included in tree and stump removal, and then, the work men do not even clean up after they are done. I contacted the company about the poor quality, but since no one was sent to finish the job, I have to conclude that no one cares. If you decide to use this company, be prepared to do a lot of finishing work yourself.

We had a tree uproot and was leaning and was going to fall on our neighbors property. We called eastcoast tree care and were told $1000 just to drop the tree. We were going to remove it ourselves. They came out that evening, they were here a couple hours and only tied the tree to another tree. They had my husband sign a paper in the dark and said it was "in case something bad happened".Came back the next morning, they were here practically all day. Actually once they started working it only took them 30 to 45 mins to drop the tree. We still have get rid of the tree ourselves. They only dropped it. When it came time to pay, they said $2000. They said it was $1000 to just come out the evening before they actually did the work. We could had it dropped and and removed for probably less!! And they told my neighbor they would drop and remove 3 tree, for $3600. So apparently its $1000 for this company come look at a tree on an emergency call. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!!!! We feel they took advantage of the situation, we didn't want our neighbors property damage. And they left all the debris in our neighbors yard.

The team arrived on time. They quickly got to work and removed both trees and a few shrubs. My yard was left neat, tidy and completely free of debris. They did an excellent job!

Everything went well. Crew was punctual and worked very efficiently. Did a nice job thinning out the trees. Will be using again when need arises.

They came on time, performed the work efficiently, and all at a great price. I would hire them again.

Removal went well - a bit stressful watching large machinery (bobcat) ride over my lawn and my neighbors lawn. Some damage was done to my neighbor's tree during the removal. Clean-up could have been better.

Excellent price and work was done on time. A little debris was left though most was cleaned up....overall grade is really an A minus or B plus.

It did not go as well as I would have liked. They showed up around Noon, and, as another reviewer wrote for his review, the crew of five had lunch on my front lawn in the shade of the tree they were taking down. I didn't really mind and gave them ice for their drinks. About 2 PM the other truck arrived and they got to work. The crew did not use a bucket truck. The tree climber with the chain saw started systematically dropping huge limbs to the ground. I did admire his skills in dropping limbs, but only a few were roped. These left huge divots in the lawn. They also used a bobcat tractor with a bucket to load the limbs onto their truck. The bobcat tore up the lawn and broke my paving stones. And crew chief driving the bobcat forgot about the Comcast lines overhead and pulled them out of the connection when he ran into them. Our internet was out until the next day. I was happy spend $2k instead of $3k, but I have a lot of re-seeding to do and have to replace the broken pavers. If I could, I would have waited until winter and get a lower price from a tree service that had a bucket truck instead of a bobcat.

This company was fantastic. I called several companies to get estimates on tree removal. East Coast came out promptly to give me a free estimate. Their estimate was good. I had the work done during their off season which made the price a little cheaper. Based on some tweaks to the price, I decided to hire them. They arrived earlier than expected because they wrapped up a prior job early. That was great. By the time I was supposed to meet them at the house, they had already arrived and were done! They ended up having to wait on ME because they finished so quickly! They removed 2 trees. One was very, very tall and one was just tall. No problem for them! They had two bucket trucks and they made quick work of those trees. They cleaned up all of the debris from the trees except for a piece of tree that had part of a fence inside of it. They could not take that piece because of the fence in it which I understood beforehand. They cleaned up well in spite of the yard being a mess to begin with. The guys were personable. I didn't have the stumps ground yet, but I would absolutely hire this company again. In fact, I intend to hire them to take care of some trees on another property I am rehabbing. The company really wanted my business and I was happy to give it to them. I can't say enough great things about the experience with East Coast. If you are hesitant or unsure about what you are going to get, rest assured that you are safe if you go with East Coast. I would hire them again without a second of hesitation. They are that good. Easy scheduling, free estimates, on-time work, quick job completion and a great price! AWESOME!

Not so good; On the day they arrived a little before 1200 on Friday in April; the crew boss Carlos I guess; came to the door and told my husband that they all needed lunch first. They had arrived in several different work vehichles. after lunch they all sat around on different neighbors lawns and had a long siesta; didn't start work until after 115 pm. They were not friendly or respectful of us or our neighbors. They left skid marks on sidewalks from dragging tree trunks down from back; didn't really clean up anything. the neighbors called co. to complain about sloppy work; we called to get the stumps ground and they came May 13, without calling, no one home; tore down the side of chain link fence that we need there. When the neighbors complained and said the person was too close to the fence the worker stated it wasn't his property. We called several times and my husband finally got in touch with someone named mark; he came out and did nothing simply stated that my husband was not specific enough(can't believe that) they also did not take out the brush as they were supposed to. They were not professional, respectful or caring. I would lime to take this further; very unhappy. Any suggestions; I will take another step by calling them again to get restitution for fence and some cleanup; it's expensive. Also the better business bureau; by the way they are not listed with when I CHECKED. Thanks.

Saw the crew take down  5 trees near our home.  Called and the next day they came to give an estimate.  The crew worked safely, efficiently, and quickly to remove the tree and cleaned up the area.   Would most definitely use them again.
