EXCELLENT! they took the initiative to recommend alternative ways of restoring and repairing the chair that have since been excellent...they took care to make the seating functional and to preserve the aesthetic lines of the chair. And the time period it took was very reasonable. I also enjoyed the personable interaction with staff.

They did a great job. During the process they were very easy to contact and also contacted me with questions about the project when necessary. Their original quote was about $700 less than the other quote I got. I paid a little more than the original quote because I wanted arm covers and pillows (an additional $200). I still saved money. I love my new (old) sofa - looks great and is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend them. Very timely and professional to work with.

OK. When I asked for a certain color, and did they have it in their warehouse, they told me I'd have to go there to check, as they could not tell what they had from their office. Seemed more than a little odd that they could not tell what they had and that they'd send a customer to check on their stock.

In a word everything was perfect. I couldn't have been happier with the service, the quality of the work, the responsiveness and the price. I first e-mailed a few photos to Bob and explained what I wanted. Within 24 hours, he had responded with some estimates for the job. A few days later I delivered the chair to the Rockville office. Bob listened to what we had in mind. He showed us lots of material and helped us pick out the perfect fabric. He had some other suggestions on how to repair the chair and what style of covering would be best. Within 8 days the job was finished. I picked the chair up yesterday and I couldn't be happier. The chair is now sturdy and comfortable and it looks absolutely marvelous. It was a true delight working with Yi's and I would highly recommend them. If I have any future upholstery needs I will absolutely go to Yi's. What an amazingly positive experience from start to finish!!!

I purchased sunbrella fabric on site. I took one captain chair with me to their shop and left it as a "pattern" for construction of the remaining six seats/backs. The employee suggested a product unavailable at their shop for the side supports of the seats. I could not be more pleased with their work.

They did a wonderful job and when I picked up my chairs they were all wrapped in their own individual bags.

The service from Yi's Upholstery Interiors went well. That work was perfect. They reupholstered all the furniture in one of our rooms. Their work was excellent. The service was good. They were done when they said they would be done. I've got no complaints at all. The final cost as compared to the estimate was exactly the same. I didn't do any comparison shopping. I would use this provider in the future.

We did not use the company because of the price but I give them an A. They gave us all the quality stuff that you would expect on a company. If their price had not been high, we would have used them.

Living room chair needed extensive repair and new upholstery. They provided excellent help in choosing the fabric. The repair is outstanding. It's totally solid. The recliner in the library also needed reupholstering and repair of one arm, which was loose. This chair is now better than when it was new. The arms and seat are stronger and have better cushioning. he arm covers completely encircle the arms and attach to themselves with velcro. The quality of the workmanship if precise and meticulous, as is the work on the living room chair. The (expensive) kitchen stool (on a rotating base, with thick cushionng and arm rests) developed a "list" to the right. The craftsmen at Yi's took it apart, found a broken support, replaced it with one that was three times thicker, and reassembled it. I'm sure this stool will now support anyone, regardless of weight. Pick-up and delivery was accomplished by very careful and polite company employees. They took great care to avoid touching the walls or woodwork when picking upi the furniture, and again when it was finihed and delivered. My wife is entirely satisfied with every aspect of the work. It was slightly expensive, but the quality and professionalism are well worth the cost. It's cheaper than buying new pieces, and the furniture came back better than when it was new. We could not be more gratified with the results.

I had used their services many years ago to have a chair re-upholstered and they did a fine job, so I went back to them for the couch slipcover. They did a fine work, and the job was was completed in the promised time.

I gave drapes to Yi's to install blackout lining. They were returned today and I noticed stains on the drapes. I called Yi's and spoke with Bob. He was completely not interested and said they get drapes with dog/cat stains on them. I do not have pets. He also said that they were not dropped but wrapped in plastic. I told him that it was not soil but looked like grease. I told him that the installer sprayed the top rod and Bob said that was water. He then changed the spray to silicone. I was trying to tell him that I would send a photo and he said "TO SHUT MY MOUTH." !!!!!!!! They have damaged my drapes! I have also used Rockville Interiors and will only use them from now on. They don't treat customers that way nor do they damage their items!

The staff is very friendly and professional, the work was done in a reasonable timeframe, and the workmanship was impeccable. Their estimate was right on target and the cost was very reasonable. Before using Yi's, its important that you spend time searching fabrics (e.g., online) and know what you want.

We had a great experience at Yi's. They have a tremendous amount of fabric choices available. We selected a fabric that wasn't in stock and has to be ordered. It took exactly how long they said it would to get the fabric and make the cushion. The final product is a perfect fit and it looks and feels great.
