VIDEO EDITOR

Working with Video Editor was a horrendous experience.  When I tried to watch the DVDs that were produced from the VHS tapes, one of the seven DVDs failed to play on any DVD machine or on my computer.  Another of the DVDs was of such poor quality as to be unwatchable.  Unfortunately, I had already disposed of the original VHS tapes, so the videos from two family events from 23-27 years ago were permanently lost.  If this company has any kind of quality control, it certainly was not working with my order.
When I brought the DVD with the unopenable file back to Video Editor, they were unable to do anything to recover the video.  When I asked for the DVD back (many phone calls), they had "lost" it.  So, I don't even have the opportunity to try another vendor. 
According to Jeff of Video Editor, the problems I ran into "never happen."  But, they happened to me on two of seven DVDs - and my family is furious with me for trusting these memories to Video Editor. 
If you have something valuable to process, go somewhere else!!

They estimated the job and were right on target.  The work was completed before the promised due date.

Overall they were very good - finished the work in time for Christmas, as requested, though there was a small surprise when the total bill came in higher than the original order. The original accounting had not included the cost of duplicating the DVDs (I needed 4).

I was greeted promptly by a tech who took my project request and asked in what order I'd like to see the films on the final DVD. The work was even performed ahead of schedule - they called to let me know I could pick up the final product a day early. I'm pleased with the results. I've used Video Editor for several projects over the years and know I can trust them to do a good job with my memories.
