About us
Basement conversions to rent-able apartments and in-law suites are our specialty. We handle all phases of design and build from cradle to grave. We are also one of the few contractors who enable their client's to fully recover their investment cost and actually make money from our quality-work and expertise. Not many contractors out there can make that bold accurate claim.

First, Robert said for $300, he would provide a CAD drawing of our kitchen and if we went with him, he would apply the funds to our project. We had 8 revisions because Robert did not read the specifications of our appliances or listen to what we asked and ultimately only gave us a $150 credit towards our project.
Then, after only giving us a partial refund due to all the revisions - his measurements were incorrect. We had just refinished our hardwood floors, so the only constraint was keeping our base-cabinet footprint - and to make it work due to Robert's poor measuring - our contractor had to build out the wall by 3". However, as a result of doing this - the wall cabinet Robert had ordered didn't fit and he CHARGED us to order a new one, delaying our project by a month! We paid $50 for expedited shipping but it turns out the company only delivers on Tuesdays so the cabinet sat around for a week!
And last, after 8 revisions and two orders of cabinets - Robert FAILED to check with the company regarding the availability of a custom dishwasher panel. We had sent our appliance specs, signed a bill of sale and gone through two cabinet orders only to find out that the company who had provided ALL of our cabinets - did not provide custom dishwasher panels.
We could not return the dishwasher (due to the elapsed time) and all Robert offered was a refund - leaving us high and dry to find our own solution to matching the kitchen.
Last - to add insult to injury, Mr. Rhoe refused to respond to our small claim suit to try and recover some of the costs - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
"The individual above who wrote this slander is not "[Member Name Removed] His name is, [Member Name Removed] See MoCo Real Estate Tax website for address verification). [Member Name Removed] couldn't steal from me (See Court's Dismissal for case No. 060100090012013), so he decided to slander me by making up this story. [Member Name Removed] instructed his contractor to substantially lengthen a wall (24"+/-) in his kitchen, which also concurrently shortened the adjacent wall a couple days before his cabinets arrived. Obviously, this change prevented his cabinets from fitting properly. So, instead of taking responsibility for his actions, he attempted to conceal the wall change and blame me for "faulty dimensions". Fortunately, I stopped by his house before his contractor painted the elongated wall and snapped some pictures clearly delineating between the existing portion of the wall and the new. The [Member Name Removed] 's only "epic fail" was their inability to defraud me. The [Member Name Removed] s were so problematic that I refused to proceed doing business with them and credited them for their "missing dishwasher panel", which was actually something additional they wanted after-the-fact. A "missing panel" is not an "epic fail" nor did it hold up their job for "8 weeks". Furthermore, I never performed "8 revisions" on anything. That's ludicrous! These people are criminally psychotic and all contractors should avoid. I can substantiate everything that I have written here. -Robert Rhoe (My real name)"
