There are good real estate agents, very good real estate agents, and then there?s Tim Horst.  My sister and I had to sell my mother?s house in Silver Spring, and it was in need of a major renovation.  Tim handled everything, coordinating the work with an excellent contractor (Dale Schwartz Painting, Inc.).  He selected the appliances, wood floors, carpet, paint color, etc., and when the remodeling was done, the house looked great.  We didn?t have to do anything but write a check for the renovation work (he just charged us the standard 6% real estate fee, nothing extra for overseeing the project), and he kept us informed every step of the way. Tim gave us good advice on the sale price for the house, promptly responded to our questions, and helped us in addressing the issues that inevitably arise during the selling process.  When there was a last-minute finding of radon in the house a few days before closing, Tim called several radon mitigation companies until he found one that could do the work in time to meet the closing date.  And if that wasn?t enough, the day before closing, he went to the house to clean up so it would look good for the new owner?s final walk-through.  Bottom Line:  Tim is a real estate agent who is truly knowledgeable, hard-working, dedicated, and will make every effort to make your sale successful and stress-free.

Tim Horst from Llewellyn Realty is the most professional realtor I've ever come across in my life. Our house was not worth as much after the bubble and his presentation of our house was equal to presentations I've seen that sold for millions of dollars that he also handles. The man didn't skimp, he did an A+ job regardless of what your house was selling for and he sold our house in 6 days in the worst part of the bubble.
