Sun Control Systems LLC

Draper Company does not sell directly to public but recommended several local businesses that provide their product.  After many phone calls, we finally were able to contact Sun Control Systems, LLC and speak to Sales Representative Jodi Koricki.  Eventually, a man came out and measured the window, but kept trying to get me to upgrade to a "better" product than Draper.  I told him that had I not just painted the room to match a Draper swatch we had, I might be willing to change, but needed to stick with Draper shade.  He completed the measurement, quoted $1350.00 to include installation with a  lead time of 3-5 weeks.  As required, I provided a 50% deposit and wrote a check that day for $675.00.  This was on Dec. 5, 2011.  We didn't expect to hear much with holidays, so didn't think much about the fact we didn't hear back until about the second week of January, 2012.  We tried to call many times, left multiple phone messages.  Ms. Koricki eventually did call back, but really wasn't sure what was "holding up the order".  In early February, my husband called Draper directly, only to learn that Draper had dropped this company's account a few months before we ever contacted them.  So, even when he came out, measured, took the order and my money he knew that he could not get a Draper product.  Of course, by then, the check was long cashed.  Multiple phone calls were never returned, emails not answered.  I even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they could not contact this company.  Very bad business with a spineless owner!!!  "Took the money and ran"!
