We used Mike, the owner of Samuel Construction group on several occasions, and finally, the lack of communication skills came back to bite us. If you read the other negative reviews carefully, you will see that this is a consistent complaint, and Mikes response is always the same, he is a professional, and its the customers fault that he didnt understand. Yet Mike refuses to create even the most simple drawing to confirm he is on the same page. He also will not refer to plans when provided. In our last misunderstanding we asked Mike to build a double closet (which two other contractors understood as, and sketched out, two side by side closets with bi-fold doors). What we got after a full days work and $780 was one, half-built, closet with a bi-fold door. Mike insists that this double door closet is what we had asked for. Mike refused to correct this mistake unless he charged us for the time and materials. I tried to find an amicable solution to this misunderstanding; and this was Mikes response verbatim (his grammar and typos): Complaints, all companies always have them. You could have done better to hire that other Contractor you came back to us after been disappointed for the first time because you knew it was your fault. We treat our customers with care and respect. Why are you insisting we dont own you anything.; $50 an hour sounds great until you have to pay twice to fix Mikes mistakes (that he, of course, never makes), and this will be the last time we are going to pay someone else to fix Mikes errors.

Once you hire Samuel construction group you will forget about the rest. Mike is a terrific guy who understands the customer's needs and expectations. Mike is easy to talk to and if the project outcome is not right he will make it right. Samuel Construction is on my list of cell phone contacts and I will speed dial them for all my future needs.

We've used Samuel Construction several times. They are prompt, courteous, thorough, professional, and reasonably priced. They helped us find less expensive solutions than we were pursuing. They have also responded to emergencies quickly and competently. I recommend them highly.

Mike was terrific!. The laminate flooring issue was a bear but he figured it out for a reasonable price. And he did a great job on the bathroom caulking. I can highly recommend this vendor!

Samuel was very reasonably priced and offered to complete the job the same day as his estimate. My gazebo had collapsed due to the heavy wind so I needed it to be taken down then removed. He finished everything within an hour and took away the scrap parts. Excellent service!

He seems to be a very honest fella and he is really a good guy. I have dealt with contractors, and this was a small job but he seems to be top of the line. He looks very professional. I would use him again above anybody.
