He finished the dishwasher job although I did not  have the instructions.  He was clever to look it up on his computer.

He did the shutters without any muss or fuss and cleaned up well after all the work was completed.

Prompt response to contact. Very creative solution with fair estimate. Work completed on budget and on time despite frigid temps. Would highly recommend.

service was great - was honest with his review of the repair work needed and gave a good price quote. best thing was that he was free that day and stayed 5-6hrs to get the work done.   will definitely use his services again for future work needed on the house

The description doesn't sound like much, but it was a heck of a job.  We were prepping for the insulation people to come when I discovered we had a problem.  We had a rat's nest (they were gone thankfully) but it was open to the outside and in the most awkward place.  The wood underneath had rotted out and needed replacing before we could sprayfoam insulation over top.  I called Safe At Home on Veteran's day to schedule a time, and he showed up within the hour.  He went to work straight away and kept working even after it got cold and dark.  In order to access the crawl space, he had to disassemble part of the deck, and then reassemble it at the end.  After all was said-and-done, it was perfect.  He even vacuumed and tidied up.  I think we've found ourselves a handyman.

We recently had an unfortunate event at our house and Bruce was so nice about it over the phone. He told me ahead of time to get the materials that he would need and he came to do an estimate. We scheduled for today, arriving on time and completed the job in a few hours. He cleaned up all the little pieces of wood and dust. Very professional and super friendly. He even sawed a small shelf we needed to cut short which was not part of our original service.
I definitely recommend him and have already scheduled for other jobs around the house!

It went very professionally.  Everything is satisfactory and we will use this company again if we need anything  else done.  The owner did the work with one helper.  They  were knowledgeable about what was needed for a recently disabled person, and were pleasant and helpful.

We have a mysterious leak on the ceiling of our porch.  Right outside of the door.  Obviously the leak is from elsewhere and dribbled over on top of the door frame.  It only leaks when it rains hard.  Needless to say, the first handyman we hired (on a sunny day) couldn't find the source of the leak but charged us $90 for the trip.  So the quest to search for a handyman on a rainy day began.  I've called no less than 10.  Bruce was the only one I was able to find.  Although when he arrived the rain had stopped but he did a thorough check of the gutter and flushed it with garden hose (no charge).  He was not able to conclusively find the source of the leak.  He promised to come by when I call when I see it leak again.  He came by on a day of thunderstorm 15 minutes after I called.  He found the source and scheduled to come fix it 2 days later (no charge).  Bruce and his assistance came earlier than scheduled time, very punctual, and spent 3 hours on fixing the leak and put the panels on the porch ceiling back, that were taken down since the first handyman.  Excellent work, and work ethics.  I will definitely call Bruce again the next time we need work done around the house.

I purchased one hour of handyman service at a silent charity auction.  The owner of the company was vigilant in making sure that I was able to schedule an appointment and that I had jobs lined up to make the best use of the time I had paid for.  Bruce, the contractor, arrrived as promised and began to work on the fan in my master bath.  After an hour, he called me to take a look and explained that he couldn't replace the fan because I had purchased the wrong model, but he had taken the time to clean and repair the existing fan.  I thanked him and expected him to be on his way, but he stayed to do an additional small job for me since he felt badly about being unable to complete the one I had originally asked him to do.  He did not charge for the additional hour.

Bruce was prompt, professional, courteous and left my bathroom and foyer as clean as he found them. I will definitely use this company again, and will refer them to friends.
