Everything was great. Was able to come within one hour, arrived on time, very professional and friendly, knowledgeable and efficient in his work. Even cut off an old lockbox the previous owners had left behind, pro bono. Affordable.

Moshe was very punctual, efficient and responsive -- he even offered to come to our home the day I called (but I was the one who couldn't make it). After providing a free estimate, he came back and replaced 4 deadbolt locks, fixed 2 doors with knobs or latches that didn't close, and suggested a door reinforcement lock for our front door when I told him of our concerns about someone unlocking the deadbolt by breaking the glass next to it. He also gave us the receipts for the hardware he purchased so there were no hidden costs. It's nice to have someone nearby who's reliable and available 24x7 -- we'll definitely be using his services again in the future!

Moshe is a real pro and was very dedicated to task. I provided the parts and he installed everything to my satisfaction. Even when a slight hiccup occurred in rekeying one of the locks Moshe kicked in for no charge a replacement lock. He is likable, skillful and highly responsive. I highly recommend him.

Moshe told me that he would be here today; he called to tell me when to expect him. Dori called to tell me that he was running late (he was stuck on the Beltway) and would be here in 24 minutes - and he arrived in 24 minutes! He got the old latch out and replaced it with a new one that I had, reassembled the door knob and lock, and tested it to make sure that it was working properly. Moshe was prompt, went the extra mile to get the lock that I needed and helped change my existing locks one of which was non standard. he was prompt, polite and best of all reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone for any locksmith needs.

I am hugely grateful to have found Rockville Lock & Key on Angie's, after having read such great reviews. So here is another one to add to the list! Moshe from Rockville Lock & Key just left our home after completing the work. Our screen door is old and has various 'issues'; with them all, Moshe had no prob. figuring out how to get it opened, and then spent considerable time trying to replace the locking mechanism with a new one to see if he could resolve a couple of the 'issues' and make it operational for us. After installing it and testing it out, it was clear that the new lock would not resolve the issue, so he took it out. Still spent additional time trying to problem solve some other options. He charged me NOTHING for that time spent. And did manage to figure out how we can use it while looking for a new door, (which we knew we need to invest in.) He also put the new locks we wanted to have installed on the interior front door. Moshe was here within less than an hour of the phone call being made by my spouse, and called me before leaving to let me know how long it would take him to arrive. Responsive, prompt, professional, a problem solver, willing to spend the time to be of service. What more can you hope for? I am happy to know we now have a locksmith we will definitely re-hire for future work, and glad to write this endorsement so that others may benefit. *Note: I put N/A for the Price rating above, only because I did no price comparison 'shopping.'

Very professional and responsive. We did not have what we needed in the first trip — my wife decided while he was there she wanted to go to a store and look at lots of options for the back door — so he redid several locks in the first trip and came back a second time. When installing the deadbolt he protected our floors with a large cloth, did a great job cleaning up after, and was incredibly kind and thoughtful. Great work and we would definitely use again.

This company is great! They were super responsive and able to come to my house the same day within an hour of my call. Our door handle had come undone and he explained the likely cause and fixed it without any problems. Fix took less than 30 minutes too. Will definitely use this company again for my locksmith needs.
