R C Imports

I have used them as my mechanics for many years. They are excellent but very specialized for Mercedes automobiles only. R C Imports is a small mechanic shop and one of the best that can handle older Mercedes cars but I guess that they also have all these computer equipment to do newer Mercedes cars as well. A lot of people with older Mercedes car cannot find anybody that does work on them anymore like when they might be 10 or 12 years old because all the dealerships deal with the new computerized ones and Rick, the mechanic who owns of the company, is very good with the older models. A lot of people need something for the older models instead of getting ripped off by the dealership. He does a full spectrum but he is really specialized and very good with the older models. Their pricing depends on the service that you would have done but they are very reasonably priced compared to what other places charge. I would absolutely use their services again. Unfortunately, I need them too often.

I always take my car to Rick at RC Imports. Once my warranty ran out from the dealer, I tried several dealers and shops in the DC area for different service and repairs, and Rick definitely is the best. I was always a Honda person until this car so I had no idea about where to have a Mercedes serviced correcty. I've had my car repaired at RC Imports for years now. Its nice to be able to take your car to a place where you know it will be fixed correctly. My main thing is trust that I am not being upsold on parts or services that I may or may not need. Lets face it, when a car has a problem or is just in for rgular service, who really knows all that needs to be done. Not me for sure. I've felt comfortable every time I've had my car there. One time, my car broke down conveniently near the dealer and the dealer wanted over $5000 for engine work. I had the car towed to Rick and he was able to get the car back in shape for under $1000. That was probably 70,000 miles ago.

We regularly take both our Mercedes to Rick at RC Imports. In this case, there was a rubbing sound coming from the front of the car. The tire did not not appear to be flat so I drove it right over. Within 30 minutes Rick called and identified a problem with the tire that caused it to rub against the front suspension when the wheel turned. He quoted us a price to replace the 2 front tires and the labor to be done. He promised the car would be done before close of business the same day and it was. The price was as quoted when we came back to pick up the car. We trust Rick and have used him for several years. He is consistently less than the dealer for similar services.

BEST CAR REPAIR SHOP WE HAVE GONE TO FOR CAR REPAIR OF OUR FOREIGN CAR. ONLY SHOP THAT REALLY KNOWS THE CAR INSIDE AND OUT.
