I couldn't be more pleased with the service, from start to finish. When I first called I didn't have to leave a message or be transferred around. Kirby answered the phone and quoted me a firm price for the installation. Kirby arrived well within the one hour window and got started on draining the old tank. The work was done on a Sunday, there was no additional cost for weekend work or travel. He also found a pipe that needed to be replaced and took care of that - no additional charge. They also removed the old heater and disposed of it. Both Kirby and Brent were professional, courteous, and did a beautiful job, leaving the area cleaner than they found it. The final cost was the $1500 he quoted me from the beginning.

Incredible, they got the work done for a third of the price that other companies had quoted. Brent and team were very flexible and got the work done fast.

Kirby was nice and responded to my questions during the initial service call.  That said, it did not fix the issue, as the drain was backed up just 11-12 days later.  He mentioned that their camera was being serviced but that they could come back out once it was available, if the problem persisted.  Well, the problem did persist (or at least it reemerged), so I called them.  When I called to follow up and have the line examined with their camera, I never heard back.  I called three times and left two messages, and made clear it was urgent (as my fiancée and I could not flush our toilets, do laundry, shower, etc. due to the problem.)  I guess repeat business and/or developing a client base is not a priority for Plumbtastic.

It was Wednesday night and we were cleaning the kitchen. We were just finished the dishes and I turned on the disposal and the water and food went down and then came back up. I tried this several times and realized the sink drain was clogged. I ran the hardware store at 930pm just before they closed to get a replacement p-trap hoping that would solve the problem, but it did not. we found these guys on yelp and gave them a call at 10pm. they picked up right away, told me the price (which is high, but honestly, at 10pm at night, i was not expecting a sale or bargain), and said they would be at the house in 45 minutes. They showed up on time and immediately got to work. they put on covers for their shoes and in 5 minutes they were snaking the drain with a portable snake tool. forty-five minutes later, we were not making any progress and i started to get really nervous that they were going to give up and tell me i had to start ripping apart walls to get to the pipe. they did not give up though and brought in a much larger snake tool, cut off a section off the pipe to get a better angle and tried again. this time it worked. apparently, my pipe had a t section and they were going up instead of down. once they had the better angle, they were done in 10 minutes. they started cleaning up and i asked to them replace to the entire p-trap assembly as the one i had was old and crusty. they did it without question. while i was paying, the team said they were not going to charge me for the p-trap and only charged me for the service call. 
i cannot say enough how much this company rocks. i took their card and plan on calling them again to replace a few toilets i have been meaning to get replaced.

The price was quite reasonable, and that was about a fourth of the price that I was told by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. They were hygienic, they put on shoe covers or took off their shoes before they came in to the room. They were very responsive. They were a little bit late, but they called to let us know so they attempted to be punctual. Once they got to the house, they were very professional, they wore shoe covers or took off their shoes, they were very accommodating, and very attentive to the problem. We have already scheduled for them to come back in June for a larger job we have.
