  • I spent hours on multiple visits to Plumbing Parts Plus spread over three weeks as I worked with their knowledgeable staff to select toilets, vanities, and plumbing fixtures. My friends ask why I didn't just go to my local big box store or buy on line (and I'm experienced at both). In a word, service. These guys know their stuff and are very accommodating to folks like me who need help. A shout out goes in particular to Pete and Carl, who bore with me as I slowly zeroed in on the products I wanted, with several changes of mind, and worked with me to get them despite problems with manufacturer schedules. Thanks to them my bathrooms look and work great and the renovation project was finished on time. Yes, I've calculated there was an incremental increase in cost but it was mostly due to the higher quality items I was purchasing than are typically available in big box stores. The service I got was priceless.

The cartridges fit, and the faucet no longer drips. Now if only Home Depot equipped its Glacier Bay faucets with cartridges available at typical hardware stores.

We have used Plumbing Parts Plus twice now, first, two years ago to provide fixtures for a complete kitchen and half-bath remodeling and this past January for fixtures for a complete remodel of our guest bath.  They helped us find fixture (mostly Grohe) they have proven not only to be functional, but beautiful.  They spent a great deal of time with us in their showroom and were able to provide fixtures that were affordable.  Over the past two years, we purchased: a kitchen sink faucet, two bath faucets (all Grohe), a tub and shower unit (Grohe and Moen), and a bathroom mirror.
These folks are consummate professionals dedicated to proving knowleeable service and quality products.

It went really well.  Pat Regan was the guy that helped us.  He was extremely helpful and pleasant.  They let us know when our shipment came in.  He made some excellent suggestions for the vanity top.

The experience was excellent.  All of the staff know their products and plumbing supplies, were eager to help, and very easy to work with.  The "showroom" had lots of products on the floor so you could get a good sense of the wide range of choices.  The toilet I wanted had to be ordered and it arrived within 2 days, much faster than I anticipated.  They were knowledgeable about what might be needed for the install; and were willing to take back anything I bought for the install, but didn't end up needing to use.  (Which was the case (for a flange spacer kit) that was returned without any issues.)  It doesn't get much better than this... and it was light years ahead of anything available in the "big box" hardware stores.  I would highly recommend this plumbing supply store and plan to go back for all of my future plumbing needs.

I was primarily concerned with quality instead of price. Less expensive plumbing supply stores are out there, but they sell a lot of builder's-grade materials--Home Depot, for example. We had used cheaper materials for a previous renovation of the same bathroom, and suffered for it--the porcelain-on-steel tub buckled and rusted, the toilet couldn't handle a "big job," the chrome was peeling off the faucets.
So I chose Plumbing Parts Plus on the recommendation of a friend who volunteers for Habitat for Humanity.
PPP has a wide range of faucets, sinks, vanities, commodes, lights, etc., all well displayed in a small-ish but lovely showroom. We looked at everything! We asked tons of questions. Someone was always able to help us. We wanted a special tub drain to catch hair (we have two long-haired women in the house and had to snake every couple of weeks), so the person (Carl?) gave us advice on what sort of drain kit we would need to prevent these clogs. We wanted a shower control that would allow us to have, say, hot water spray without the water pressure being turned up all the way. We did find this control at PPP, for which I am very grateful, since I never liked the single-knob shower things that have cold water at a dribble and hot water strong enough to knock over an elephant.
The store gave us an estimate which was good for a certain length of time (I forget how long). They gave our contractor (Hassle Free Home Improvement, which I highly recommend) a discount, so we saved a little money there.
I was very, very happy working with PPP and recommend them.

We were referred to Plumbing Parts by the people redoing our three bathrooms; we made our way from Arlington to Rockville and found the selection quite good and the personnel were very knowledgable about what items went with other selections.

Plumbing Parts Plus was recommended by my contractor for a bathroom remodel.  I was initially skeptical about driving all the way to Rockville and ordering from the showroom vice obtaining the material on-line or at a big-box company.

Once I got to the showroom, they had a vanity that was perfect, so I decided to just go ahead and order most of the parts from Plumbing Parts Plus.

I thought I'd save money by ordering the faucets etc on-line but that turned out to be a big mistake when everything got backordered.  I ended up making an emergency run down to Plumbing Parts while the contractor was working.  They fixed me up with the parts I needed right then and got the rest ordered.  They also coordinated with my contractor for pickup/delivery, so I didn't have to worry about any of that.

Highly recommend Plumbing Parts Plus, and very much appreciate the extra personal service and advice. It may cost a little more, but this is one area where you really do get what you pay for!

Outstanding!  This company is the best!  Each salesman and parts counter person I worked with was knowledgable, attentive, detail oriented, and friendly - and patient!  I think I visited the showroom and sat down with salesmen 3-4 times to create and purchase a list of items I needed for my bathrooms.  Their advice above and beyond what to purchase and factors to weigh in deciding which model or brand to purchase was extremely helpful.   (an example of above and beyond is the advice they gave me to insert 2x4s behind each adjustable mirror I was purchasing)  I wish I had worked exclusive with Plumbing Parts Plus!

Good. My order was processed and received in stock for pick up as scheduled. The medicine cabinets were special ordered and they will take a little longer.
