They are excellent, very thorough, very friendly, and very concerned about helping your pet. They also have a doggy daycare and I usually use them for about 6 hours so my dog can play. My dog really enjoys it. I would highly recommend them and I will use them again.

For the past 25 years, Doctor Basset and the staff of Pet Dominion provided outstanding and wide variety of veterinary and kennel services for our furry friends. During this period we had five dogs - three labs and two beagles. They saw us through the good times and the sad times. More than being our Vet, we consider Dr. B and staff to be friends. Their compassion can not be understated.

Both the boarding and the veterinary treatment went great. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. I found all of the staff to be very sensitive to the needs of cats. We have two cats. One is mellow, the other is friendly and very active but is quite fearful at his visits to the vet. He also has chronic constipation which requires medication daily. I normally use a cat sitter when we're gone, but she wasn't available this time. I was somewhat apprehensive about how well boarding would work and had a number of questions before I made the reservation, which they patiently answered. You can coordinate with the office staff so that you can bring your cats in when the lobby is quiet, with no dogs barking. In our case, I came in to complete the paperwork (we were first time customers) while my wife waited in the car with our cats (it was a hot day). Then we brought them in, and one went straight to the exam room and the other went straight to boarding. The cat boarding facility is great. The room has thick walls, so the cats can't hear the dogs, and they play relaxing music. They allowed me to bring a towel and a blanket with their scents, which they put in their "condos". There's a window so the cats see outside. You can arrange for daily play times. The staff will do what's appropriate for the cat - interactive play, brushing, reading to them, or just letting them sit on a cat tree and look out the window. The care staff clearly love working with animals. Both cats did well with the boarding. The more fearful cat was shy at first but become more relaxed over time. They give a short but informative "report card" of how things went when you pick up your pets. The weekend before our trip, I became concerned that the cat with constipation problems might be getting blocked, so I made a veterinary appointment as well. They were able to squeeze me in. They gave him a thorough exam, without sedation, and treated him before moving him to boarding. They also recommended a different food, which is working well. The boarding and veterinary care prices aren't inexpensive, but are competitive and provide excellent value. I couldn't be more pleased with the care.

It went well but it was quite expensive

It went fine.. They have a special puppy option for an additional $29.95 per day (providing for 3 bathroom breaks alone and 2 play times) that I did not use and would add significantly to the cost for a lengthy stay. Also there was a mandatory additional charge of $3.90 for "Health Warranty" to cover any vet charges arising out of the dog's stay.

We have been taking our cats to Pet Dominion for several years, both for veterinary care and for boarding services. We have had experience with all the veterinarians on staff (Dr. Bassett, Dr. Zeoli, Dr. Lamar, and Dr. Stemley) and many techs, all with very good results. The office staff is also very professional and responsive. They take the time with both the pets and the people. They answer our questions fully and have provided excellent care - both routine and in response to illness. We have been fortunate that our cats have been with us a long time -- one made it past voting age, and the other is approaching legal drinking age. We credit the care from Pet Dominion as a critical factor in that outcome. We have also boarded our cats in the lodging facility. The separate cat area is very nice and the ability to sometimes get adjoining cages has been a bonus when needing to leave them.

The people there are amazing. They are friendly.

They are very nice. I left my cat for 8 or 9 days. Our cat is kind of squeamish but she seems to be okay with them.

Pet Dominion staff are professional and courteous and they even provide you with a report card that provided us with an overview of our pet's experience. The facilities are impeccably clean and the staff focus on the pets with great attentiveness. Bonus - you can have your dog bathed the last day of his stay for $25. Well worth it! Highly recommend. Flexible hours but be sure to pick up your pet by 2pm or you will be charged for another night.
