They did a great job. It was ready on time. They guarantee their work and they gave me a loaner car for the time they had my vehicle. The prioritize what they recommended. They also itemized the part and labor costs.

Went to Ormsby's on three different occasions to get Md Inspection for 3 vehicles after relocating from Florida. They were professional, friendly, and considerate of the fact that I was waiting. They also waived a $25 fee for the tinting inspection which I appreciate. Also, they didn't find anything else that needed to be done to the cars, which so often seems to be the case with mechanics and that always make me wonder if they are just looking to jack up the price. Would go back to Ormsby with any car issue.

I was very plased with the work, price and service. They saved me considerable $ by getting a used part and offer a warranty on work and part. Sent first part back because it wasw rusted and not up to their standards and promptly got a better part. Sis the work promptly and it was a good experience from start to finfish. Cost exactly at estimate and done before I expected.

Following my first visit they called me promptly to explain what the issues were related to the broken spring as well as the check engine light. They made three recommendations regarding the check engine light based on what the codes were as well as what they found to be wrong with the car after further investigation. After much deliberation I decided to go along with all the recommended work. I was assured that the majority of the cost was for the parts. Three days after I picked up my car the check engine light came on again. It was one of the same codes that had come up the last time. They fixed it without any charge explaining that it was most likely a faulty part. I picked up the car and one week later the light came on again - same code. This time they said it was the same problem but a different issue that was causing it. I was extremely skeptical as to whether or not they were truly fixing the problem but they dealt with it again without any charge. One more week and the light came on again. I will be heading to another mechanic this time. To boot, the breakdown of costs for the repair was over $800 in labor and less than $300 for parts after they explained that most of the costs were for parts.

90000 mi service was routine. However, the search for the throttle fluctuations problem was elusive. They recommended the throttle body and a Saab factory service to increase crankcase ventilation as solutions to the problem. They also said the timing chain was loose, which may contribute to the problem. Cleaning the throttle body was relatively cheap, the crankcase ventilation was factory recommended, so I went ahead with them. Replacing the timing chain would be $1500 - $1800 so I declined that. When the service was complete, the fluctuations were the same as before. They still suggested the timing chain as the possible cause, but also suggested bringing it to the dealer to have the engine control module re-flashed (updating the car's computer program, basically). Did that, which improved, although did not entirely cure the problem. I asked the dealer if the timing chain sounds loose. They said no. Asked another shop later, same answer. I suspect Ormsby's inflates their work.
