I needed to have my car registration changed due to a move. I had my car checked by my mechanic of 30 years a week before I moved. I chose a AAA car care center in my new state for its inspection and they did not pass my car for tires, power steering and engine mount tare. I was shocked and said no to the repair. Nebel Street Automotive was recommended by a new neighbor's daughter and they only found the engine mount tare which they repaired for a better price and found that my tires and power steering were fine. They saved me $1,000.00.

They are excellent. George Vincent is wonderful. We recommend him. We've never had to take a car back because it wasn't fixed when we took it be fixed. He's just a great person. He's very reasonable. We will use him as long as he's there.

We have used them a lot. I like them because they don't find work and they only fix what is necessary. They seem to be honest and straightforward as opposed to other companies who find several other things that need repairs. They found that the brake light was only on because the brake fluid was borderline low. He didn't charge me anything extra for this diagnosis. If you want someone who is an honest mechanic, I would recommend them.

I feel like I'm getting an honest appraisal of a situation from this shop. I took my car in once, and they didn't do anything. I said I was going to start taking the car in there for oil changes. They check your car every time you have it taken in for an oil change. There were a couple of leaks on the power steering pump and hoses. A few weeks before that, I had them replace a timing belt, water pump, and head gasket, which was a major repair.

Check Engine light was determined to be a problem with my catalytic converter, Nebel St. Auto did everything in their ability to fix issue without replacing CC. Oil Change was fine, and they noticed that I was low on coolant. Wheel squeak was determined to be a belt, but they did not feel the belt needed to be replaced. A/C was recharged with dye, and will require follow up visit. Nebel St. has always been very good with communication, and being up front about pricing. They are very friendly and accommodating when handling pick up and drop off issues. Highly recommend.

It has been good working with them. I have been using their services for the last two to three years now. They do not try to sell you on products. They will tell you if something really need to replaced or if it can just be fixed. They are customer friendly.
