When I first moved back to this area, I had a cat with me who was very old also. That was the very first trip I made because I realized that she was too old and her time was going soon. He was really sweet. He was wonderful. He hooked her up to a heart monitor and showed me how her heart was stopping. For somebody who you never met before and they come in with a very old animal that has heart problems, it would have been very easy to just say something, but he explained it all to me. He hooked her up to a heart monitor so I could actually watch it stop and restart. It was really above and beyond I think.

We used him for 20 years. I have recommended them to tons of people, unfortunately, they are real busy now. Their price is in the middle. You can always get in. Their punctuality is pretty good for a medical office.

When I bring any of my animals in, he check them over and thoroughly. He makes sure that they’re really all right. If they’re not, he gives medication for the animals.

Dr. Hambright is the vet I see. They do a phenomenal job. They’re very thorough and the vets are very seasoned.  They're very prompt with their appointment times and seem to have a natural affinity to my dogs. They truly love what they do.

This was my first visit to Dr. Hambright.  I was very happy with the service and will continue to take my dog to him.

Dr. Hambright and the staff at Nebel Street Animal Hospital are the best. I've been a dog owner for 30 years and have tried several Montgomery County Vets, and Dr. Hambright is the best. I have a choice of 5 other vets within 5 miles of my home, but I drive 25 minutes to Dr. Hambright because he is the most compassionate, thorough, and involved vet I have ever met. He spends as much time as we need to explain options, examine my dogs from head to toe, and make the dogs feel comfortable and welcome. He is genuinely happy to see them and they are happy to see him. He gets down on their level to greet and cuddle them. It is obvious he loves his job and his patients. The costs are a bit more reasonable for the area. One of my babies needed emergency surgery over Thanksgiving weekend, and he made arrangements for the pup to stay at the emergency clinic next door after his surgery so he could have round the clock care. He called us many times to inform us of how my dog was doing. He also performed knee surgery on my other dog, and it was a complete success. I cannot say enough great things about Nebel Street and Dr. Hambright.

I used to bring my dogs to Dr. Hambright until I moved 45 minutes away and it just wasn't convenient for me anymore. I decided to go there recently for a 2nd opinion for my dog and it just made me question why I ever stopped going there. They are all so wonderful, especially Dr. Hambright and Kelly. They are so knowledgeable and I feel so compassionate and honest. My mom has been going there for years, she and I have both referred friends there who love them as well. Even though it's not close for me, I feel like it is worth the extra drive to ensure that our dog is in the care of people who we truly trust.

The Staff at Nebel Street Animal Hospital are professional and provide good customer service. Dr Hambright is very nice, kind, and treats our pets very well. The actual surgery was performed by a visiting Veterinary Surgeon, so the total cost was split between the surgeon and Nebel St Animal Hospital. Our dog was treated very well. Post-operative recovery was at Nebel St Animal Hospital. The evening after the surgery, she was transferred to the 24-hour emergency animal hospital next door, so that someone could monitor her condition all night, then back to NSAH the next morning. I picked her up the day after the surgery, along with medications. She's recovering very nicely and get's her surgical staples removed soon. Dr Hambright has been our vet for the past 5 years and we have never had any complaints. Very satisfied.

They seem to treat the pets well. The doctor seemed to be confident. The office staff is friendly too.

We have been bringing our dog to Nebel Street Animal Hospital for as long as we've had her. Dr. Hambright is great, but we generally see Dr. Fromburg and we really like her. She is great with our pup and does a good job of explaining things to us. It is usually fairly easy to get appointments on short notice if you call first thing in the morning, which is a big plus. We've had mixed experiences with some of the staff. Depending on who is working, you may not even be greeted when you walk in. Other times they are very friendly. Although I feel like some of the staff members could be a bit more professional, we are overall very happy with Dr. Fromburg.

We have taken our dog to Dr. Hambright for 10 years and cannot say enough wonderful things about him and about Kelly in particular on his staff. He has done tooth extractions and cleaning, annual exams, senior exams, ultrasounds, boarding, spleen/cancer surgery and much, much more for our dog and she is healthy and happy at almost 14 years old. For big ticket items like major surgeries (splenectomy) he did a much better job, gave 100% better service and beat the price by 75% of both VCA and Crossroads and quot;specialtyand quot; hospitals. He does what is best for the dog and doesn't recommend random, unneeded procedures. My only critique is that the staff that works the off hours (the B team if you will) is not very good at all. I now always call for appointments, questions and scheduling in the mornings when the best folks are working. We have only had issues when we went in on weekends or late in the evenings as these folks do not know the regular customers and will charge you incorrectly.

We have been using his services for about 15 years. The reason I like is is because I feel as though he is conservative about how many drugs or medicines he gives your pet. If he feels they are too old or if their health is not good for a certain vacanation or drug, he will advise you of this. Our cat was terrified of the previous vet we used, but our cat really adores Dr. Hambright. He is very gentle, caring, and careful. I am really happy with his services.

Our dog has been sick for a couple of days now. We finally called Nebel Street. They got us in on the same day. Treated the very old dog and he's much better.

Nebel Street Animal Hospital is a great place. I give them all As for their work and will continue to use them in the future.
