The showroom had an excellent selection of different tiles and the people there were very knowledgeable on what type of tiles to use. They were knowledgeable about questions that we got as to decorating and placement of tiles. They have individual service and a person will be with from beginning to end. They will walk you through the whole showroom and when you finally make your selection, then they talk about placement and things like that.

I used them two times. We bought the tile there because they had a better selection than several of the big box home improvement stores. Their store is mainly tile only. They were a little more expensive than the big box home improvement stores, but their quality is a lot better.

Amy had a great design sense, was very patient and professional. I would definitely recommend the firm again.

There was a free design consultant who basically helped us pick up tile and design our bathroom. She picked up the tile and the grout. She calculated how much tile we needed of each different tiles. She put it on an order invoice. When we decided if we wanted it or not, we just called the store and said we wanted the tile and then we ordered it. Their customer service was excellent and their showroom was pretty nice too. They had a huge selection of tiles. They had any kind of tile we wanted and if they didn't have it they could order it.

We started at Home Depot and Lowe's but our tile installer recommended going with any place BUT the big home improvement warehouse places. It's really easy to walk into Lowe's or HD to get a good deal on tiles but products from these places are more likely to have a problem with irregular tile sizes. When I tiled my bathroom floors, I used Lowe's tiles and had no problems but last year I tiled the floor in my parent's kitchen and had major problems. The issue was that the tiles were not all within spec, so after you get a few rows in place, you will eventually get tiles that are 1/8" off which will start to make grout spacing and row spacing look terrible. This normally isn't a problem with a small space but with a large space, it's a nightmare and you don't find out about it until you're in the middle of the job. Now that you know this history, you know why I decided to go to another place for tiles. I went to Mosaic on a recommendation from my friend. When we walked in, the showroom looked really expensive and the staff was dressed really nice. It's the complete opposite of a home improvement warehouse. My eyes saw nothing but dollar signs but I kept an open mind. We were immediately greeted by Laura who was able to help give us the lay of the land and explain what they had to offer. Once she did that, she left us alone and allowed us to look at the tiles. No pressure. After a while, we moved to the other side of the showroom, so she came back to tell us about the tiles in that area. We spent a total of maybe 1 hour in the showroom looking at tiles. Laura was able to show us several sample photos and tile pattern ideas and she also helped us with selecting our top few favorites. We took a few samples and left the store. The next day our installer told us that he was going to start tiling earlier than expected, so I rushed and called Mosaic to place an order. I called and spoke with Brian and he took my order over the phone. I liked the fact that 15 seconds after giving him my name, he had our profile pulled up and knew what we had signed out as samples. He took my order over the phone but we did hit one snag. One of the tiles we selected had a newer finish available but they did not have a sample in the store. Brian recommended that we NOT purchase the newer style without looking at it first. This was really helpful because my initial impression was that the newer style was very similar to the old. He even brought Laura to the phone and included her in the conversation to keep us straight. Brian also was able to give us a discount on the tiles which really helped with our budget. The following week, we drove to the store to pick up our tiles. This time Laura was there but we also worked with another person (I forget her name). They were both helped us to pick grout and matching caulk. I learned that lesson the day before when my installer told us not to get grout from Lowe's because their grout doesn't have a good matching caulk for most colors. Not the case for Mosaic. They were very organized and had everything we needed. Of course, I expected that they would charge a lot for these smaller accessories but they did not. The caulk was a little expensive ($12//tube) but we only needed 2, so it wasn't a big deal. We drove around back to pick up the tiles, and they had a guy there to load help load them. The car backed right up to their door so it was really easy. My wife went back a few days later to pick up the last batch of tiles, and she had the same great experience. The next time I need tiles, I will go straight to Mosaic and not even bother looking elsewhere. Their staff is awesome. Laura was great but every other person we worked with was also great. I forgot to mention earlier that my order was 4ft short on bullnose, so I called and they added it to my order. No issues, no hassle, no messed up paperwork. This place is a well oiled machine from what I can tell. The product selection is great and the staff is helpful. There may be other tile places that are just as good but I know for sure that Mosaic is top notch and affordable.
