I contacted the florist immediately to complain - totally unresponsive - literally, said nothing! called teleflora and after being put on long holds twice was 1) promised a full refund and 2) told that the florist (with whom they had spoken) would pick up the arrangement (as I had suggested) as soon as possible. I immediately contacted my friend and her husband by email with my apologies (again) for the embarrassing gift, told them I was getting a full refund, that the florist would be coming for the failure, and that I would be sending other flowers. Neither of the things promised by the teleflora agent happened! after three more days and unanswered emails to Teleflora ( I wanted my refund processed before I sent my friend substitue flowers), I called again and was told that the florist had re-contacted them and refused to pick up the arrangement. Teleflora was very responsive to the issue and has promised to provide a complimentary, substitute arrangement (same or comparable).
