The first plumber they sent was not able to fix the problem so they sent a senior plumber who did a good job.

Amazing. We have been using them for at least 15-20 years now. They are amazingly honest, don't try to cheat, cut corners, or do things that you don't need to have done. They are extremely good at what they do. I would highly recommend them to others.

The technician (Mark) arrived promptly, fixed the running toilet, and replaced a section of pipe that was connected to the outdoor spigot, luckily the pipe leak was located in the garage area.

I'd give them an "A" overall. On price they are competitive. They are about the same as other companies. I've been using them for 20 years. About 20 years ago our heating system went out. We had 2 companies come out and they told us the system needed to be replaced and it was going to be about $10,000-$15,000. Then Leahy sent out this guy named Mark and he tapped on a pipe and said I think something is stuck in here. He literally cut the pipe apart and then soldered it back in place. The whole system was back up and running and he charged me $95. That means that they know what they are doing.

They did take care of the problem, therefore they deserve a good grade for that. My wife says a "C" and I wasn't totally satisfied. We're used to high-prices in this neighborhood, so I'd say the price was a little above average. They did do good work. They came at the right time and everything, but they missed the first time and didn't call. I would use them again if we needed to, but we are going to look elsewhere.

Initial interaction was good and plumber showed up on time for the estimate. After his assessment, we spoke with the owner over the phone and it was clear he believed the estimate was aggressive so bumped it up to a wide range that started with the plumbers estimate of ~$700 and ran up to $1,500. I viewed this as fair having received two prior estimates that I viewed as predatory at $6,160 and $4,500 so we scheduled the work for the next day. Plumber showed up on time but he indeed underestimated the work and was rushing towards the end of the job and did not set the tub properly. When I pointed this out, he quickly tried to put in a ledger board which still wasn't sitting right after a half dozen attempts as it wasn't sufficient given that it was an acrylic tub that called for a mortar bed. I asked if we should test the drain since we pulled the tub in and out so many times but he was confident it would be okay so left. The tub was still wobbly so I ended up spray foaming under and around the tub and let it sit for 24 hours full of water to set. Luckily this stabilized the tub but you can probably guess what happened when I drained the water - A call from my downstairs neighbor complaining of flooding. I called the owner who said he would have someone out between 10am and noon which delayed tile work slated for the day but so be it. The plumber showed up closer to 2pm which was frustrating but he corrected the drain leak. I would have much preferred to pay a few hundred dollars extra and gone over the estimate but had the job done right the first time. That said, I view Leahy as an honest company and despite the issues they were responsive, took care of the issues and provided a discount when I used them again shortly afterwards to make things right and I will rate the second experience as straight "A's" across the board.

Called because disposal wasn't working, after putting in a new one technician told me that it was an electrical problem. In other words I tossed out a perfectly good disposal. Technician offered to come back on his own time for a hundred bucks and fix the electrical problem.  Disposal lasted 5 years.
Had water under the water heater. Turned out it  was just the valve had somehow opened a little. Plumber went to the truck and call John. They installed a new part, totally unnecessary.
Not sure about the dates.

I was thinking I needed to buy a new hot water heater, but Leahy plumbing was able to replace the part that rusted out and caused the 10 year old heater to stop working therefore it was a minor repair and at the same time they installed a rebuild kit in one of my toilets.  I always use Leahy Plumbing, I manage a few rental properties in the area and I can always count on them, they are always responsive, good, and reasonable.

Leahy plumbing had put in our previous water heater, which decided to flood our basement without warning on Halloween many years later, so we called them again.  Blaine and Gary showed up right when they said they would and had our new heater installed and the water back on very quickly.  (Price is rated as N/A, as we did not price shop, but it seemed reasonable.)  Hopefully we won't be needing their services again for a while, but when we do, we will certainly call them.
