I was very impressed by Shafic when he came to do the estimate and during the course of the project he proved to be a bright, resourceful and incredibly hard working man. Everyone on his team was friendly and even though the project involved extra effort and involved working with a boundary dispute he persevered.
I found him honest, intelligent and I can recommend him without any reservation.

"Hello [member name removed]. This is a reply to your rating. I am so not one to complain but I feel like this rating is so wrong. I completed this job over a month ago. I was told to remove a pedestal from your porch and because it was a small item and you didn't want to pay much we agreed on $40. I had told you I would be late so I can do it at the end of the day because of the price i was doing it for. I showed up around 5:30 - 6pm when I could of been taking a shower ready to relax with the family. When I got there you told me that you just wanted it moved next to your chair so you can put a flower pot on it. I came all the way to you to help you and this is what I get? Again I don't know how professional I could be to move a pot from one side of the porch to the other. Also your husband was talking to me so we got into conversation. Very nice guy by the way. Anyway I never received the $40 or even the $20. I was handed $10. I'm not one to complain yet again but what kind of person wastes my time yet to only pay me so little and grade me so low. If you ever need me again please visit my website and see our regular prices. Minimum charge $99 with $10 off with the mention of Angie's List. Thank You and have a Blessed Day"

Firstly, they were easy to get in touch with and provided a pick up time that met my needs and schedule. Second, they arrived exactly when they said they would. I had a huge pile of stuff to get rid of after I spent hours cleaning out my garage and attic. They took care of it in just minutes! They were friendly, personable, and gracious. They offered to help me look around to see if there was anything else I wanted to get rid of before they left and didn't let me lift a finger. They even offered to sweep the floor! I will definitely use this service again as they are so much better, and cheaper, than the alternatives.

They were able to do the work the day after I called them, which was nice. Their price was higher than the other bid that I received, but it was worth it to have the work done promptly. They showed up early and finished the job quickly. I was very pleased with the work - they cleaned up the area very well. even the small scraps. They went beyond my expectations and the price was worth it.

He arrived on time, was very professional, was very pleasant and was very careful around our furniture. We needed him to remove and haul away a couch from the second floor. No problem. But we also asked if he would bring the sofa-bed up from the basement. He agreed even though it meant that he (and another fellow) had to carry the heavy sofa-bed out through the back and then all around to the front and up a flight of stairs. Neither he nor his assistant complained, even though it was a very hot day (92F)!

They did exactly what they said they would do. Came out on time, quickly removed the giant pile of debris from my garage and even grabbed some yard waste to fill in the extra space in the truck. Shafiq continues to amaze me. He does his job, does it well, has a pleasant demeanor and good customer service skills.
Due to the storm we have to get some major concrete work done in our basement Tuesday of this week so I emailed Shafiq at about 1AM Monday morning, he called me Monday morning. I asked him to be at our place at 5:30PM when I'd get home from work... And his truck was backing into our drive way at 5:28PM and 55 seconds... If that's not precision I don't know what is LOL. They pulled out with a truck load of stuff by 06:30PM. They were efficient, pleasant to deal with, and they moved everything without touching the walls. I'm still amazed at how quickly and efficiently they moved stuff out and nicely packed it into their truck.
This isn't my first review of him (look down for the other time he was over here). He got an A last time, and gets the same this time around as well.

This company is terrific. We contacted Junk Junkers since they appeared to be more competitively priced than 1800got Junk. Although it was already noon, Junkers was available that afternoon. They arrive on time and not only took the heap of stuff, they came back with their truck and loaded up all the scape metal, iron wood stove, old craftsman tractor..on and on... for no additional money.
The two guys working were polite, just talking and social. Once they were all done they raked the ground to ensure they got all the debris up.
HIGHLY recommended.

When I called for information, the owner, Shafik, answered and provided all the information I requested... price, availability.
He indicated that he might even be able to pick up the safe on the day I called. I called back several days later to set an appointment. Not only was he on time, he had actually arrived a little ahead of me, and I was a bit early. At the house, he and his helper assessed the location of the safe, got the necessary equipment, and removed the safe without any fuss or any damage to doorways. They were very professional in all regards.

I called Shafiq at 10:30AM... he was here by 11:36... on a Saturday. He really got us out of a bind. They stopped by for the removal of an old large fridge, dishwasher, mattress, bookshelves and some other stuff. He quoted me a price of $200 and he was good for the quote. As they started loading the truck I asked if we could expand the scope a bit and he pleasantly accepted and we agreed to a reasonable increase in cost. We continued loading the truck to include several sheets of cement backer board. At this point his truck was about 75% full. I asked him if they had time to make another stop at another property of ours and again, he graciously accepted. At the other property we loaded and filled up their rather large truck. He quoted a very modest amount for the second property as well. He was with us for several hours, was very pleasant to deal with, and provided me with the utmost flexibility. He was also accompanied by another gentleman who was as also very good to deal with. I still can't believe they moved a large fridge up a flight of stairs and through our door way without a scratch on the walls. We're already thinking of bringing him back another time in a week or so to help us remove some other material which would take hours if we wanted to dismantle and bag them individually. Treat him well.... Shafiq is a keeper. A++

"Thank you so much. The sofa bed was the second heaviest we have had in the 5 1/2 years we have worked this trade. These really old Sofa beds are made with heavier steel than they make now a days. It was nothing though member, Were here for you anytime. Call us with something heavier next time LOL."

It was not a large load, which was much of the challenge! They guys showed up when they said they would, hauled out everything from various corners of the house, smiled and chatted the whole time. I will definitely use them again!

I called them about mid-day, they said they could do the job about 5PM of the same day. They arrived when they said they would and carried the refrigerator through some narrow spaces to get it to the truck. They were very careful not to bang it against any walls. The invoice was as they had quoted. I felt the price was very fair, and I would certainly use them again should the occasion arise.
