Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value We knew immediately when we met Stephanie Fried in the Jack Rosen showroom that our search was over! She was attentive and patient with us, and always honest when pressed for her professional opinion- from faucets to pulls! She recommended The Martin Kitchen Group to install our cabinetry. Marty, a master craftsman, was a stickler for perfection- which was quite a challenge in our 75 year old stone home. Stunning results! Many years ago (before I lived in my current home), Jack Rosen Custom Kitchens supplied very beautiful and high-end kitchen cabinets. Unfortunately, there is an integral and sophisticated lighting system beneath the cabinets...and one of the lights failed. When I called and spoke to Larry Rosen, he told me the cabinet manufacturer no longer makes or provides the components I needed (a touch dimmer and transformer). Larry did, however, provide me with the name of the manufacturer and the specific part numbers I needed. Subsequently I was able to track down a supplier who still had the parts I required, and they were successfully installed. Without Larry's help and support, I would still be in the dark!

Absolutely smooth sailing! Stephanie was so helpful, patient and looked for ways to save money without compromising the final product. Her design fully utilized the space in my kitchen.
The cabinets are all wood, 100% custom and stunning. The very few, very minor issues we had (faulty drawer, minor missing pieces) were solved right away. All products were delivered on time and in perfect condition.
She helped me choose everything from pulls to counter tops and she really pulled the design together. She was never pushy, always helpful and she really wanted me to be happy with my purchase. She didn't push any upgrades, she just showed me what was available and made suggestions as to what might work best in my space.
From demolition to installation in my 22 x 18 kitchen, took less than 3 weeks. In very large part due to her planning and the contractor she introduced me to.
While it was 4,000 more than semicustom, it was more than worth the cost. Done on time, on budget, and every step of the way she kept me informed.

I had gotten estimate from Jack Rosen Kitchen for Kitchen remodel, but ultimately went with alternative designer and outfit. However, because I had a such a good impression of their contractor when I was considering them for my kitchen remodel, I went back to Jack Rosen to purchase a bathroom vanity just so that I could use their contractor to remodel my bathroom. I am very pleased with the work. Their contractor is very hard working, very reasonable. Excellent workmanship. The cost of service listed is just for the vanity. Contractor was contracted with separately. Was able to gut my bathroom and remodel for just over $15,000 (contractor cost and allowances) which was $10,000 less than estimate I got from one and quot;bathroomand quot; remodeling business.

I went to Jack Rosen because I wanted environmentally friendly cabinets, and Elmwood claims to be so. The designer was friendly and always responsive when I called. She never failed to get back to me immediately after I would email a question. Everything was possible, and the cabinets are lovely. Two things influence my opinion of the company. First, the designer sold me on a lovely corner cabinet that features shelves that swing out, so all the space is available. But she did not allow enough space for the door to open properly, so I cannot use the (expensive) corner cabinet as designed. Then, when the builder was finished, I was left with a small truckload of extra moldings and finish pieces that did not fit into the design but certainly were on my bill. My wonderful Romanian builder was disgusted. It makes me question the integrity of a company or designer that would order much, much more than I needed for a kitchen she had designed. Custom kitchens are priced as a whole. So, the customer has no idea how much s/he is paying for any one cabinet or piece of molding. This arrangement leaves the customer in the dark about the prices of things and makes it easy for the company to pad the order.

"We at Jack Rosen Custom Kitchens appreciate Member's concern. The corner cabinet that she refers to is designed to be installed with the "blind" section pulled forward, off of the wall, clear of any obstrcution. This allows the door to open fully to facilitate the complete accessability of the swing out shelves. This was referred to by our designer on the detailed dimensioned elevation drawings.The cabinet functions beautifully when it is installed properly, so that the door swing is not inhibited by any obstruction. In this case, it appears that this was not fully considered after a nearby range was installed. We were not notified of the issue so that we could assist in resolving it. It appears that this is where the break down occured. Regarding the additional molding, Member need not question our integrity. It is our policy to charge for only the amount necessary to complete the job. As a courtesy to our client, we order extra molding at our expense.The extra molding is provided so that there are no costly and inconvenient delays caused by unforseen circumstances (installer mis-cuts, warped or damaged molding). It also ensures that full pieces can be used instead of scraps. Most builders appreciate this consideration and are not "disgusted" by it. If we were interested in unfairly increasing our bottom line, we would not provide extra parts. I hope that Member gives this concern further consideration. It is our policy to be "always responsive" as Member indicated. It is unfortunate that we were not told about the corner cabinetry issue so that we could help to resolve it."

My experience with Jack Rosen was fantastic. I worked with Stephanie . She really listened to my needs and helped design the perfect vanity for me. The final product is absolutely beautiful. She also designed a tub surround to match the vanity and it looks incredible as well. I would recommend Jack Rosen to everyone. I was so happy with the final product, I plan to use them when I remodel my kitchen.
