Jim was terrific to work with. I am a perfectionist and wanted everything in writing. I had specific requirements and extra requests. Jim said yes to everything. He and his team lead, Elkin, made sure every detail was addressed. I would definitely use this company again.

He (his company) had stained our house some years earlier, and did a great job on the first painting. We did not hesitate to hire him to reapply the stain, and to do some repairs involving replacing several siding boards. About 6-9 months after completing this second job the stain began to fail. Between 12 and 16 months later, one of the boards warped and was separating from the house. The stain continued to peel, to the point where, within less than 2 years of the job, the house needed to be restained. We tried contacting Kuzma several times, beginning in spring of 2012. When he finally replied, once he said that it was too hot to do any work (it was not hot in the spring when we called), another time he said he was busy and couldn't come out before September, and that he would be out to look at the house then. He never contacted us about coming out to review the problem or address our complaint. We can document this through email correspondence. We would never use this contractor again, both because of the poor quality of his work, and for his unresponsiveness and total lack of professionalism in dealing with the situation.

It went okay. We contracted with these painters to paint the exterior and interior of our home. The group started on the exterior of the home and did okay. They have a big crew so they were able to finish in a couple of days. This group is definitely more accustomed to interior painting and we would not hire them again to do the exterior work. It was not worth the money for this part and we ended up capping all the entries in siding because the paint didn't look that great. They also broke a couple of windows and several screens and didn't let us know. The owner offered to replace the windows after I told him about it but I felt like the painters should have let us know when it happened especially since one of the windows was above the garage and only visible from the front street. The interior job went more smoothly but due to travel schedules they couldn't work around our construction schedule and we ended up having them come back and touch up the work including some ceiling spots that were created with the installation of new lights... they ended up charging for some of the touch ups. At this time we contracted them to paint the remaining bathrooms. They were diligent about the edges but we had to really walk them through some areas to make sure it looked right... especially on our stairs where paint met new stain. I also had to request that they remove all outlet covers when they painted but they readily did so. When they came back to paint the bathrooms I felt like they rushed. Many of the touch ups that they did didn't dry to match the original paint and I ended up having to go back over it. Overall, they did a pretty good job, they do bring a big crew so they are only in the house for a couple of days... I think it would be best to catch them during a painting off season or when you don't have a schedule to adhere too. They are definitely more expensive than other painters.

He was good and took care of everything that we needed. He came out quickly and gave us an estimate. I had a good experience with him. We had one issue and he sent his folks back out right away and took care of it. The price was very competitive.

They found the cause of the water damage and repaired it very nicely. I thought their price was very good. When they came back to get their ladders they decided they could have done better even though I was satisfied. They are coming back to touch it up.

They are good and high quality.

THE PAINTERS ARRIVED ON TIME. THE AREA WAS KEPT FREE OF EXCESS PAINT BEING SPLATTERED ON HOUSE AND SURROUNDING SHRUBBERY. THE WOOD REPAIR WAS OK BUT NOT THE BEST.
