 + -1 moreMy latest communication with support (aka Fran) was amazing. Fran provided detailed technical instructions for a totally different website that I administer. Fran is the absolute best!!!
Description of Work: Heller Information Services (HIS) has been hosting multiple websites for me since about 1999. In all these years, I think the sites have been down a total of 5 minutes (seriously!). They are 101% reliable and responsive. When I have a question, my emails to support are always answered, usually in less than 24 hours. When they have scheduled updates, the systems are back up in less time than anticipated. Billing is effortless. Their prices might be more than mass-audience hosting sites like godaddy or hostmonster -- but you truly get what you pay for! And they don't use low prices as a come on, only to nickel and dime you when you want to add features that should be included anyway!

 + -1 moreGreat service for over 15 years. If there is a problem, their 24/7 helpdesk gets right on it. They are a small family run business that is just awesome.
Description of Work: First it was dialup service, now web hosting and email hosting.

 + -1 moreExcellent maintenance record -- my site is almost never down. Incredible and personal customer service by a local (Montgomery County), family-owned business. I stay with them for web hosting and email service even though they don't offer home DSL. When I send a question to their customer support line, half the time the response I receive will be from the owner himself. Good support for Macintosh users.
Description of Work: Web hosting (''Bronze'' plan) and email/news account. What I pay (approx. $400/yr.) includes 250MB of disk space for my web site, unlimited mailboxes, news reading, Postini spam filtering, domain name registration, and other features. Private bulletin board for their customers.
