I had a great experience with Jim.  He was very professional, clearly knew his stuff, gave a reasonable quote and completed the work quickly.  He also spent extra time fixing an electrical issue in the house, going beyond my expectations to determine the cause and fix it.  Would definitely use HDL again.

Jim is an excellent contractor. He did everything by the book, followed all local codes and had inspections done. I had no surprises on the estimate, he included everything in his quote. This was nice since other guys I have worked with always seem to ask for more money during the project.
JIm also made good suggestions on ways to make the deck better. At the end of every day the work site was clean.

In addition to the above services, he was extremely responsive and knowledgeable. He supervised workers, working late at night in order to meet my time table. I only had one week to get townhouse ready for the market. Jim is dependable, reliable, and his charges are fair. I would definitely call on him again.
