A woman owned carpentry / remodeling company with over 25 years experience in the Washington DC area. We specialize in all types of interior and exterior carpentry work including home improvement projects, interior and exterior repair work in wood and PVC, doors, drywall repairs, trim work, painting, and more. We have only professional carpenters and painters with many years experience who take immense pride in their work! The majority of our clients are repeat and referrals. Call for a free estimate.

The work I had done in my old kitchen involved constructing new custom doors for my existing cabinets, plus adding two new cabinets. Then, everything was painted with primer and two additional coats of my choice of paint color, all doors rehung, etc. plus new sink, faucet, garbage disposal, countertop. All went according to schedule - lots of communication and quality controls, all work done quietly and efficiently - the job took about 2 weeks and the owner, Terry Wilson, kept close tabs on the progress and quickly responded to my many questions. I can't praise Terry and her team highly enough -- this was the 2nd time they've done work in my house with super results!

The project went well. Evergreen was responsive and clearly laid out the work that they would be doing. The finished product looks great. The deck has a lot of small board/slats, and they did a great job of painting them all. Work was finished on time and the for price quoted.

Terry Wilson did a marvelous job of estimating the job and explaining the work to be done. We got three estimates. Terry's bid was neither the high nor low bid. But by orders of magnitude her proposal more professional and thorough. She demonstrated great knowledge of carpentry. We considered her proposal to be the superior proposal. Her team was fantastic. At any given time there were 3 to 4 master carpenters, mostly working second story issues for our home. Their work was thorough, professional and masterful. All were gentlemen. We especially enjoyed Terry's project manager, Reynaldo who was very helpful. The finished project was of the highest quality, completed on time and within budget. We don't hesitate to recommend Evergreen Remodeling.

I hired Terry Wilson last year when she worked for another employer and she did a great job determining what exterior carpentry work was needed on a hundred year house and supervising the carpentry team, which did a great job.

Like every construction project there were hiccups along the way but Terry and/or her employees responded quickly to my concerns. The employees working on site were courteous and professional. I have worked with Evergreen remodeling several times now. They always exceed my expectations. My last project, painting solid, dark built-in wood bookcases, came out better than I expected. Luis, one of Evergreen's excellent painters, is the most professional painter I have ever worked with. If he sees something amiss, he points it out (that's usually my job!) and says it has to be made right. Of course, he thinks things through in advance so work is done right the first time. He even helped disassemble my audio system. When everything was replaced after painting, it worked like nothing had been moved....except my now-white bookcases are beautiful. On another project, Luis made sure to touch up areas I had not thought about. You will be treated well by Evergreen. I rarely write reviews, but have no hesitation about recommending Evergreen Remodeling.

I hired Evergreen last year for a number of repairs and updates to my house. Terry came over and and looked at all the things that needed repairs and made recommendations about what kinds of repairs could be done. I felt she really spent the time to go over the details and gave me the straight answers on what the best way to proceed is. Even though I asked for a new replacement entry door, she went through the options and told me it wasn't worth it and I would be better off having my current one refinished. I felt she will take the time and work to do what's best for me. Her team came on time, were very professional, paid attention to the details, and did a great job. Terry called and came by everyday to check on things and talk me through any issues. I highly recommend Evergreen for your home repair and upgrade needs!

We've loved this company for carpentry repairs in the past, so when we decided to redo our basement TV room, Terry's the only person we called. She came in with great ideas to meet our needs, and no upselling. She really just wanted to give us exactly what we wanted, which included new cabinetry, shelves, and countertops, stair handrails, and drywall repairs. She also advised us on some lighting changes that we had our own electrician handle. The Evergreen crew is unfailingly professional, diligent, responsible, and talented. We could not be more pleased and will definitely call Evergreen in the future.

My house has been transformed from being dated and in need of maintenance to one that I’m proud of. It has a great screened porch to relax on, a refinished basement with newly redone bathroom and laundry room, and nice modern looking bedrooms and living areas. Terry made sure that everything was coordinated well and ran smoothly. It was all done in a timely manner and at a good price. I have and would recommend Evergreen to anyone.

We have been using the excellent services of Evergreen for over a decade for our projects to renovate our 1948 home. Terry Wilson is the owner and she has a deep knowledge of construction processes and is very creative in determining creative and cost-effective solutions for new building and existing structural renovation. Terry is a terrific communicator and from the time she arrives on time for a review of the requirements and estimate through the project(s) operations to quality check-ins at completion it is a pleasure to work with her. Her ability to keep her staff of guys over the years rather than scrambling to find workers, is testament to her leadership and consistency in job performance. She has a crackerjack team of talented professionals and we appreciate the on-time, polite, hard working efforts at very reasonable costs and are grateful for them building our house, porch, patios, outdoor kitchen every time we remember where we started with this old house. I had such a pleasant experience with Evergreen Remodeling. I had a very short time frame and several jobs to address in order to get my house ready for showing. I contacted Evergreen and they immediately responded while quickly getting to my home and giving me an estimate which was extremely reasonable. They replaced my bathroom ceiling, power washed, completed several carpentry repairs, and painted. They completed everything even quicker than originally expected. I was thoroughly impressed with their workmanship and professionalism. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again in the future.
